I didn't answer this call (5:52pm PDT) as I live in Kelowna, BC! From experience, I've noticed that it most likely telemarketers that are calling me from out of province. If it isn't, and was someone important I would think they would leave a message. Thank you for posting so as I know not to worry about calling the number back. :)

They called me 3 times  the last week. They didn't leave a msg.

this is a newspaper subscription telemarketer.

I called back 416-916-4863 and got an automated msg explaining they are called Com-Tel Marketing and they specialize in the solicitation of newspaper subscriptions. It also gave me a number to call if i want to be removed from the callers list. I phoned the 800-682-0070 and instructed to press 1 if i want to be removed. i did so, it asked to enter my ph. # which i did, then the final message announced that my number will be removed from their list within 7 days. I hope this works! They call EVERY day.

1-416-916-4863 calls our home number quite ofter in Edmonton Alberta.  I answer it sometimes and no one says anything.  Caller ID show "Ontario".

ONE RING, then they hung up before I could answer! Really annoying

I donot appreciate calls between 5:00 and 6:00  Especially what I call legal telemarketers

They are calling me on my cell phone, almost every week night, between 5 and 6 p.m.  I'm in Kingston, Ontario.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message but it's still annoying.

Happened in Vancouver in the late afternoon

Call 1-888-682-0070 and you can have your number removed from their call list.

Yup, getting called 2x daily...

This 1-416-916-4863 phone number is Evry night around (9:00)calling me. It rude.

Called right at supper time claiming to be from the Globe & Mail. Who wants that crummy fish-wrap?

Here is what I did. I called that # and from there I got another # - 1-888-682-0070. I called there and there was an option to take your phone out of their list. (you press 1, put your phone # and you are out!)
