Why is this telemarketer calling a number which is on the DO NOT CALL list?  What can be done about this?

10:30 am... I should not have to call them to tell me not to call my number!

Got a call from (416) 916-4863 today, but no one spoke when we answered.

Called my home at least once a day for the past 2 weeks. Never leave a message. I subscribed to the Toronto Star a while ago but has since terminated.

telemarketer calling all the time, even though I'm signed up not to receive these types of calls.

Keep getting calls from this damn number. Just would not stop and no one is on the line. July 12 2010. I call back and its a newpaper/magazine subscribtion telemarketer.

I keep on getting calls from this number 416-916-4863.  Whenever I answer, no one answers.  If I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  It is getting very annoying!  One damn phone call per night!!!

Got calls from this number several times. I am on the NO CALL list....what a joke! In the past year the number of calls from non approved businesses has vastly increased. So much for the promise of that list! Guess they all know it doesn't work.

It's gotta be the globe and mail then!  As we just cancelled our subscription and they keep calling us to, but when I answer no one is there, and they never leave a msg!

Com-Tel???????? I used to work for Com-Tel in Vancouver!!!  They called me today - nobody said anything... I waited a bit then the line went dead. All the call display said was Ottawa and the phone number. I can't believe it was Com-Tel... the issue with com-tel is they give you a GREAT rate on the Globe and Mail... then 3 months later your rate tripples. I had many unhappy customers after their trial 3 months was up - but by then it was outta my hands. :P

Apparently when a call comes in and nobody talks - they are probing to see what time is good to keep calling... should be illegal. They called again this morning that THIS happened.... GRRRRR

Been getting calls from this number too. Just moved and got this number 6 weeks ago. No message left. Tired of this from random companies who just keep calling.

They call about 3 times a week for the last month.
I answered a couple time but no one is at the other end
