Called us at 8 p.m. on Friday evening.
Was pleasant -- said it was "Globe and Mail" newspaper.
Not really sure who/what to believe on phone so just
said thanks, but not interested.

this number keeps showing up on my number display and even though i have called this numberback many times to stop but still keeps calling back

This number has been calling my cell number.  I don't know who they are, other than the fact that they have a Toronto area code.

It's March 2011.  Did not answer but the number on the display is this one.

I have been getting calls from this number pretty well on a daily basis lately.
I have call blocked the number now.

Yes this caller is extremely persistent.  Today  the first call came in at 5:50 Toronto time.  I  don't answer EVER.  They can plug in my number and call it until hell  freezes over. I don't take calls from people I don't know. MY rule.

If i want news papers i'll buy it from the box not over the [***] phone!!!!!!!

Globe and Mail newspaper subscription.  I have not had a subscription with them for almost 25 years!  Also, they called me on a private, work-related cell phone number, which I have listed with the DNC directory.  Very rude and annoying.

Get several unwanted calls from this number. I am on the 'do not call' list however they disregard this fact.

Just got one myself but didn't answer. No message was left - typical. Is that so they can keep calling within the daily/weekly 'rules'?

Thanks to this thread, I know who it is and am comfortable blocking the number.

I have received two calls from them in the last 48 hours, to my cell phone.  I'm registered with the no call is so I'm not sure why they are bothering.  No msg, nothing.  I'm in Kingston.
