Had 2 calls back to back from this number while I was out of the house.  Oh, you guessed it, no messages on voice mail.  I plug in the number that called into a search, came to this site, and yep, collection agency.  These bottom feeder 4th party collection agencies need to be stopped with their arm-twisting lying ways.  Even if I do owe a debit, too friggin' bad - I have no money to pay - and threatening or harassing will get them nowhere with me except to tell them to F off if they keep calling I'll be sending in complaints.  Oh, wait, just for giggles, I think I'll give them a number off of a gift card I have - they'll get about 30 cents from me - lol.

For those people who say pay your bills - well, I sure hope you don't hit on hard times and end up with huge medical bills for health care THAT SHOULD BE FREE LIKE IN OTHER INDUSTRIALIZED NATIONS - oh wait, I forget, the repukes don't want anyone but themselves to have any help.

I will not pay these bottom feeders anything - they can go straight to Satan's den as far as I'm concerned.

I don't care how many people say they don't owe a bill. Most of us don't. They find people in the same state who have the same damn last name and harass you. Get real. The same last name does not mean I know the person who owes a bill. We just got new cell phones 2 weeks ago and the calls started last week to my wife cell phone. Its obvious we'll have to get her a new # to get rid of these people.

My co-worker just told me that they called me at work! My guess is that my bank was selling my information to them since my direct deposit goes to the Bank of America. However, I don't owe anyone or have any debts. Are they trying to steal something from us???

I have received a couple of calls from this number. The second one I answered thinking it might be a business I was trying to work with. The woman was incredibly rude refusing to give me her name or even the business name. I called the number back and asked to have my number removed. Fortunately, the person doing that was very polite.

If they call me again I've got something special for them.  :)

I hope that the longer this post gets the higher up in the search results it goes. Collecting debt has nothing to do with being rude and unprofessional.

Be careful, this company will and can garnish your paycheck.  They are very difficult to work with.  I negotiated a repayment schedule which I could not keep the entire time.  When I called back to try to renegotiate again, they served a judgment on me and went through with a paycheck garnishment.

When someone owes you money and they do not repay, you can damage their credit score and you can file a lawsuit, obtain a judgement, and collect via legitimate legal methods. Endless harassing calls and messages are barbaric and demeaning and should not be tolerated.

I have an old collection on my report that is actually for medical services for my ex-wife.  I called these people to discuss with them and offered to pay the original amount even though it wasn't mine just to make the whole mess go away.  They tried to triple the amount for "fees and services" and threatened to sue and garnish wages if I didn't pay the full amount.  I calmly told her that I could prove that this belonged to my ex-wife and that I didn't even live in the state during that time and that if they would take the original amount then I would settle it right now.  She got nasty and belligerent about it and said "we don't settle and our lawyers will come after you and take everything you have."  When I told her that threatening me was against the law, she really went off.  I guess some people just can't be nice.  She could have had the money today.  I called back and left a voice message for a supervisor telling him that she was rude and unprofessional, lied about laws, and threatened me and that I needed a copy of their "recorded conversation" to provide to the WA Attorney General's office.

An officer of the US District Courts replies to getem
The Fedral Law for DONOT CALL is 8 am to 8 pm, it's a 12 hour block of time. Also different states also have other laws governing time that calls are allowed. Never to a cell phone. They're suppose to identify themselves as a person by name, the company they work for, and who they represent or are calling on the behalf of before anything else.

An officer of the US District Courts. replies to Frustrated
Actually this company can not garnish your pay check. They have to go to court to get such an order. You have to respond to the court summons, and the court case has to be heard before a Judge, and then the Judge orders the garnishment if he feels it is so warranted. If they garnished your wages, then you most likely did not show up for the court hearings and/or you lost the case.

    WTF replies to Wow!!!
This sounds more like a scammer than the collection agency.  There was a big expose a few years ago about people threatening others over the phone for money.  Never give out your cc number to someone you haven't verified.  Make them contact you thru mail and verify everything!

If he called back and said that, that falls under the fair debt collections act as harrassment, I would of star 69 the number for proof, and called a lawyer . every thing they do wrong is 300-500 bucks out of there pocket.

Baby-Eating Liberal replies to Pay up America
Many collection agencies work with outdated information that may have been registered to an individual decades earlier, if that is their only lead regarding that person's whereabouts. That aside, people go into emergency rooms for medical treatment and lie about their names, addresses, phone numbers, and other vital information, so that the bills they incur can't catch up to them...and with the rising cost of health care, I can't say that I blame them.

All Im saying is how are you suppose to know who is calling if they don't leave their company name.  i got a phone call today. All the guy said was my name, his phone number and extention and his name Mr King.  To me that can be a telemarketer.  If you want someone to call you back than you need to leave info on what it is regarding.

I never answer the phone if I don't know who it is. I figure if its important they will leave a message.
