Just got an email today (2016-01-16) from Karen Wyatt  karenwhyte206@gmail.com... same emails..asking for four nights :)

This phone number appeared in an email from "ljgoulding9107@outlook.com with a message similar to the others reported here.  It included instructions to split the payment between two Visa cards in payment for a non-existent reservation.  This was the second communication from this person.  The first was a general inquiry about rooms and rates, and the writer was directed to our online booking engine, but did not follow through.)

Just received the message below from Linda Thomas. Same phone number different email address asking for a refund.

    just got married newly to his wife in Sweden during there honey moon trip. so We will have  to cancel  the  rooms, and during the arrangements I lost my wallet containing my credit cards and some other vital documents and I  have made my credit card company block the cards and there will be no activities whatsoever allowed on the cards no more  supplied for payment.

I will like to know how much you are going to charge me for the cancellation fee so that i can forward you my  New Valid Card Or My I BAN & SWIFT CODE (Wire Transfer)  for the refund. Perhaps, i will be responsible for the transfer charges.

Had a guy email asking for rooms and asking to split the cost between two cards.. I looked up his number and came across this website. I believe we too are trying to get scammed..

Why are you trying to get scammed? Most (of us) seek to avoid such misfortune.

Well the name is now Pauline Ann by email wanting to book 14 nights and split also between 2 credit cards. Don't see the point of any of it really except wasting my time!!

Exactly the same drill as all the previous posts. Emailed me two credit cards to charge in advance for a ten day booking of three rooms. Said they were not able to use the internet to book the reservation.

We got the same scam messages I knew it was dodgy but our Tourism officials advised us to send a reply just to be sure. This is what we received:

Beware! The scammers are based in Nigeria and not the UK at all. They are poorly written emails and keen to pay as soon as possible.

Looks like Karen Wyatt or White have updated her credit card details....LOL :) ....SCAMMERS..!!!!

I have the same message but I took payment from card and it worked for one night they wanted 4 rooms for 15 nights didn't turn up so I charged them the first night.  Saran Davidson sent the email.  Same details as other Saran Davidson

Also contacted us to make a booking and send two credit cards nr....Everyone knows NOT to send credit card nrs on emails....So, researched and found this site, thank you.

Read the other 50+ messages about this number and make your own mind up.  If you are still unsure, tell them you only accept payment on arrival but they can pay a deposit by Paypal.  Another poster did this and never heard from them again.  My guess is that the cards are either fake or cloned and they will then cancel and ask for a refund in real money.  By the time you hear the original cards are useless they have stolen the money you sent them

Got an email from Karen Wyatt. Note the spelling difference of the last name. Two mastercard numbers and asked to split the bill. Obvious scam. Looking for 4 rooms for 13 nights. We rent cottages, not rooms.
