We have had an email from gj06989@gmail.com searching for rooms from 5th June to 20th June 2016. This sounds like a scam

We have gotten the same info, this time for a Davion Simon and a Shawn Corey.

I have taken payment from this Johnson Godfred for quite a large sum but he now wants a refund?? but after reading all this I have responded asking for an address and I.D.

Just be careful that your Bank does not process a charge-back.

I did respond to his initial email but his reply didn't feel right so I went online to check out the name and found this site with all these messages. I'm glad I felt the need to check it out.

he'll tell you his original cards have been stolen so he'll ask for the refund to go to a replacement the bank has issued; some time later, you will get a chargeback by which time your "refund" will have long been spent. ignore Godfred's request but don't spend the money either, the card issuer will come for it eventually, sooner rather than later, and you'll have to give it back. i suspect the original cardholder is "in" on the scam, it's the only way it can work, they report eventually the loss of the card - you can imagine "well, last time i used it was back in february, then didn't realise someone must have taken it ....." yeah, right! oh, the number they've given you is disposable and a premium rate number so very expensive to call back (looks like a uk mobile/cell but ain't, bought for cash, no contract, untraceable! sscum disgracing their parents and countries.

Yes they are still ative also the inital e-mail was sent from a different e-mail account too:

We also got the same info, als from Davion Simon.  He calls from a number in Ghana...

Also in The Netherlands they are trying to make new victims: but I never respond because we often reveive scams like this one :-(
