This number called today and it was the Unemployment office.

Got several calls from 503-235-1259 on Jan 8, 2009 and Jan 9, 2009. The female caller knew my first name, asked if I had a minute. I said not now. She said she'd call back in the morning. Several calls from that number on my caller ID the morning of Jan 9, 2009. My number is listed on the federal do not call registry.

They've called my cell phone twice this morning within 5 minutes and only let it ring once. I can't think of any reason why the state would be calling me.

I got a call from this number but missed it.
I am super confused especially since I don't live in Mult County. And have nothing to do with "the System". No foster kids, no government connections besides paying my taxes. No unemployment.....WEIRD!!!

They just called again. As soon as they heard my voice they told me Sorry Wrong number. Don't know what they were expecting. Maybe they will quit calling now.

I got a call from this number.  It was for a job interview with the state of OR.  My guess is that it is just a number the state uses.

I have gotten several calls from this number.  They always hang up as soon as I answer.  I am on Unemployment.  My guess is that they are tracking my location.

two calls within two minutes- didn't hear the cell phone ringing until it was too late to answer.  I attempted to call back but got message that the number has been disconnected.  No message was left.  Annoying!

Linda for the "Oregon Department of Revenue" called for my husband - very suspicious. The number she gave was disconnected.

A man's Voice asked about my friend's Step-Dad and I said they had the wrong number. Later, I tried to call back and it rang twice then the "i'm sorry this phone has been disconnected messaged played once I started to say things as if somebody was listening and it wasn't the message as it played a second time. When the message began to play a third time it was significantly louder than before. I believe this is party of the April 1st, 2009 computer/technology wipe out or it has to do with the cell phone company, or the government.

This is a general number that shows up whenever any State of Oregon agency calls.

Called and left no VM. Called it back and it was "No longer in Service."

I received 4 missed calls from this number between 7pm and 9pm. When I ried to call the number back it was disconnected, and whoever was calling did not leave a message. Weird, I do have an appointment with a Dr. concerning SSI disability eval tomorrow, but they wouldn't call this late, would they?

I got a call from 503.235.1259 at 7:45 at night in June 2009 if it is a State number, I am curious why it was not during business hours.

Employment department. Basically calling to talk about judgement. The number to call back is 1.866.528.4235

I got a call from this number on my cell and was told that the last day care my son attended is now being investigated for neglect and other issues.  Now, supposing after talking to my son, he mentioned anything that was a cause for concern--how could I possibly notify the person who called if I can't call them back?  Also, when parents find out they can't return the call, many of them will assume it's just someone trying to make trouble.

This call was from someone at Workforce Oregon, which is a branch of the Oregon Employment Department.
