This was a call from the  State Vocational Rehab Department.  They didn't leave a message, but the call was legitimate.

Well then maybe you should get over it and leave a message, ya douche. I just got 13 calls in 40 minutes from one of you idiots. Figure it out!

This must be some kind of "trunk" line from the State of Oregon.  

I just got a call from this number and did not answer, then the call rang back so I picked it up.  It was a friend calling from the Dept of Corrections!

Their caller ID should at least show State of Oregon!

a lady called me and she knew my name and my husbands name. when i asked who was calling she hung-up. when i tried to return the call that # line was disconnected.

I have been getting these calls too. And the beep, beep, beep. Somebody might have the wrong number for FAX use. State Employees are rude? Unbelievable!
They should leave their ID, Department, and call-back number especially if they are a FAX machine! Ha!

It would still be nice if you would leave that message; since it’s a general number for the State and the receiver not able to ID who, what it’s about or now to reply.  If the State had the time to call in the first place, why waste money for not leaving a massage. I or someone else may need that information.

Got a call from this number at 1:04 this afternoon. I agree that they should at least display "State of Oregon"--but more than that, they should use a number you can place a return call to, and they should leave a message.

Obviously it's an outgoing trunk line serving a number of state agencies. The state should have a bit more courtesy & consideration.

I received a call just now from this number.  The lady said, "I'm sorry." and hung up on me.  These calls worry me; someone told me that people who are into identity theft do this calling of folks they don't know to see who and at what time the person called is available.  Worrisome.

He said he was from the State of Oregon and wanted to know if I had any disabilities because he knew that I had just sent in an application for the Oregon Health Plan and stated that I forgot to mark if I had any disabilities.  I said "No, I don't".  He said "OK well we are not accepting any new applications for the Oregon Health Plan but if you were disabled I would have sent you to "some odd name he made up".  How did he know that I sent an application into the Oregon Health Plan?  Obviously by opening my mail.  I live in a secure building that the mail man has to go through security to get into the building to deliver the mail.  He also called at 8:11 am and he knew my first and last name and when I tried to push redial because I thought it was a very odd call, it said disconnected.  I tried redial 4 or 5 times and it said disconnected.

It is a general Oregon state number. I am a state employee and it showed up on my cell. I wish they would leave a message.
