I got a call from this number         1 503-235-1259  she said she did nt have the right number

this is a trunk routing number, its internal so thats why it shows discoe'd when you try and call it back. The number is from the Department of Health and Human Services. It's the number that comes up instead of the direct line the person from DHS has called you from. Someone from the state is trying to call you is all.

I called a Department of Human Services (DHS) supervisor, and he called me back from this number.

I received a call from "Carol" at Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles from this number (503-235-1259).

Hi, got a call from this number and the caller left a message.  It was an agent from the State of Oregon Worker's Compensation Division. We had cancelled our Worker's Comp after we no longer had any employees, filed a form with the state indicating we were no longer doing business there (had moved to Texas).  The agent (very polite) had gotten notice of the policy cancelation and just wanted to find out the reason why.

I suspect the number is an alternative line to the State of Oregon's main inbound line.  The number I called the agent back on was a different number, her direct line.

my husband (a state employee) calls me from this number saying he is calling from his supervisor's number.  Yeah...right

called number back and disconnected. interesting.

Keeps calling every 5 mins and when i pick up there is a beep, beep, beep. and it wont stop WTFFFFF someone is going to pay.

This is a generic switchboard number for many state agencies.  As a state employee I have no control how the number works or displays.  I dial "9" for an outside line and make my call.  This number shows up on your caller I.D.

As for early (7:30 am) calls, some employees come in at 7:00 am to accommodate graveyard workers who are off work by 8:00 am.

And like many other people, we don't want to talk to your voice mail, so we hang up.

Got a call from 503 235 1259 this morning at 8am.  Oregon Internal Revenue courtesy call... call back disconnected, but at least the lady left a message with their 877 number.

It's Oregon Child Support Program Direct Deposit. Their recall number is 503-986-2558

They left a message. It is an Oregon State government number as other before me have stated. This was from the Dept. of Revenue. Unpaid parking tickets they are trying to collect on. Good times.

ya got a call from this number at 2:30pm said they were from the state social security office in salem tried to call back and it was disconnected she was very unprofessional for someone who worked for the state

These calls are people won DHS if they aren't giving all the info you want it's because they are investigating a case and looking for info without busting themselves and the investigation.

The number is for a main switch board for DHS--Food Stamps.  If you get a call from this number, don't call it back, call the number were given from your DHS Case Manager or the main DHS Line, this number will not work.

this is a food stamp number you call in on for phone interviews with them...

it is the dept. of human resources all right. with bad news!

It came from the Oregon Dept of Revenue.  It is an outgoing line only on their end.  It may even be a state toll free number to call 503 area codes.  He left me another number to return his call.
