very weird call asked for my girlfriend and i asked who this was she replied that she was from dhs i asked to speak with supervisor the phone disconnected called back and the lines disconnected SCAMS do not give any info instead ask them about info they will hang up!!!

Tried calling this number back, but it said it's a disconnected number. Jeez!

This is correct.  Still that way as of 10/1/2010

Call from Employment Department (filed claim 2 weeks ago.)  When I called it back it says 'disconnected.'  When I call the main Emp. Dept. number they can transfer me to the person who called, but will not give me the direct number!!!

I had a missed call message from this number, and no message was left, when I called the number back, a recording said that " you have reached a number that has been disconnected"

I got a message from this number saying call from employment tax.

I had 503-235-1259 as a missed call on my cell, called back, it was disconnected.  A couple hours later I found it again as a missed call.  (my ringer was off)  Called back, Disconnected.

Looked at this site, then looked at my home phone (my cell forwards into it if I don't answer it) the number was the last call I took.  Which was from Worksource Clackamas. The Employment Department in Oregon City, OR

They call out on one trunk line and have incoming calls on another.  971-673-6400 x 22473.

Got a call from this number then tried to call the number back and I got a message stating the number has been disconnected.

This # called me 4 times in 16 min. On my cell and I just heard a fax noise. I tried to call back but got disconnected recording.

we got s call from this number yesterday Jan 5 2011 from a male person claiming to be in the Oregon Mental hospital  at this point we hung up.

It's a state number I was called for the department of corrections in response to a volunteer inquiry I had made.

This is a state of oregon trunk # for outgoing calls from multi depts. depending on the callers setup, you may or may not be able to call back.. NOT a credit agency !!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from this number several times. the person calling was Terrie Herrick from Oregon DHS.in Clackamas county. the call was in regards to child welfare. if you have had any contact with this department from this number please detail the interaction on this blog. I may be able to help if you are being harrassed.

I got a call from this number and it was a woman who didn't identify herself.  Said she was looking for "Fred" and she said it slow so I wasn't sure she was serious.  That isn't my name but Fred is in my name so I said yes who is this?  and she said "Wilma."  Seeing the humor I did a Fred Flintstone impression and she said her other phone was ringing and she had to go.  I called back and it said it was a disconnected nomber.  I found this blog and read it but the weird thing is I've never been on unemployment and don't have any kids so I wonder why these people are calling me?  Should I be concerned?

Department of Human Services.  I had called a few days before asking about the SNAP program and they returned my call from this phone number.

They called twice within 5 minutes and did not leave a message.  Returned call at number and got a recorded message that it was disconnected.  Doesn't sound reputable if they won't leave a message.

Yes, but when you need that voice message, to know whom to return the call and you did not leave it sure makes for an un-happy person.  Since 2 people are waiting on 3 different calls for the State of Oregon it would have been nice to know which we I did not make contact with. It would have been nice to have a good call back number.

Got Call from 503-235-1259 on my cell phone today, Didn't answer it because I didn't know who it was? They didn't leave a message, and when I called back it says the number is dissconnected. (Just like everyone else)

I just got a call from this number & it was, in fact, someone from the State of Oregon calling about volunteering with the DHS. Their call back number was nothing like the number that showed up on my caller ID.

I did not answer the call from 503 235-1259. The "lady" left a message saying "I didn't know that a convicted felon could have an NPO" Actually there is no law against it but never the less, this is harrasment against all of us. Does anyone know who the phone company is that owns this number?
Post it here if you do, it may be a skype number.
It is probably my ex and she reads this so all I can say is that now I have a recording and can match the voice.
