Got this call, they claim they're from Wells Fargo but it's obviously a scam. I have never been affiliated with Wells Fargo.

Always, always verify a number BEFORE you give out ANY information over the phone!!

Also, they asked me for my social security number. My WHOLE social security number. All the real companies only ask for last 4.

This is wells fargo bank. They call like 5 times a day. Cool now I won't pay the 700 I owe u guys on principle. Send it to collections.

Are you Wells Fargo customers, and are you overdrawn? If so, That is why you are getting these calls. They want you to clear up your overdrawn balance ASAP. Isnt it nice to know your bank cares?!?!  WTF- Just answer and tell them you have no $ or you would not be overdrawn, and let them know when your going to have some $ going into that account.

seems to be wells fargo. she asked for my account or ss # and i told her no. when i gave her my phone #, she said she was looking for my son. i will alert him.

at least 10 times a day including week ends...They say they are from Wells Fargo and need to talk to me about my account.  Idiots I closed my account several months ago when they refused to pay me back fees that took out when they should not have.  They want me to give them my ss# and all that , told them to take me off their calling list and they hung up on me and called again an hour later.

The get very annoyed if you ask questions and not give full name and phone.

At first when I called back they asked for account number. Instead I asked them why are they calling. After being told about the auto-dailer I asked why then does it hang up after one ring.
She then asked if I could give my full name and phone number. Instead I asked again why does it hang up and why does this number call instead of the normal number(s) from Wells Fargo? She said since I would not answer her questions she would have to hang up.

I'll be honest, that was fun.

Like others said never give out your information unless you are sure. In this case I verified through a seperate number that this number is a scam.

I keep getting this call.

I signed up for businesses not to call my cell - this one calls about twice a day!  I think its Wells Fargo - I don't have any business with them.  How do we get rid of the calls?

I keep getting a numerous amount of calls a day from some 503 403 2695 number...its starts at 7am and last call is normally around 6 sometimes 8 pm. I never answer it just for the fact that I don't. Know. What it can be or who it is.. I really wish they would stop calling my phone all day and everyday. I've heard by just answering unknown numbers that they can get all your info . By just picking up the phone and saying hi...is that true?

I got a call from this number at 8:28 on a SUNDAY morning!  First time I've ever gotten a call from this number!

Got a call from this number....every day for 3 months - they say they are from Wells Fargo and want to talk to Thomas Meyer.  503 403 2695

They were calling my home 5+ times a day and annoying my wife, so I called and asked to be put on their do not call list.

This is a Wells Fargo company and its not a scam. But as with anything, dont give your account information to someone you didnt call over the phone. They were calling me 5 times a day. They use an autodialer to get in touch with you and this is HIGHLY illegal regardless if you have an overdrawn balance or not. They are in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. If you cant pay your overdrawn balance at the time and you want to get them to stop calling, do the following.

*When you answer, inform them that you are recording the call for quality control purposes
*Inform them they are violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and that you are keeping a record of every time they call after this call  (The agent may try to deceive you and tell you there's no such thing. This is their job) and you may consult an attorney if it continues.

After I asserted my position and listened to the rest of her programmed responses, the calls stopped cold.

At this point they should only correspond to you through mail. If they call again, you should send Wells Fargo a Cease and Desist letter (certified with a return receipt for your records) Then you may consult an attorney and he'll help you charge wells fargo for your time and money!
