Research company, fine.  Why are you researching the number of times people don't answer?  Why am I getting multiple calls (Daily)?  Please look up the do not call list.  I don't want to spend 30 minutes on the phone making money for someone else.  This is 2016, certainly there is better technology to data harvest than make harassing phone calls.  Glad I blocked the number.

I used to work for them. Really are a research company. More annoying than anything. If there's no response it goes into the computer and they have to call back.

So I work in telecommunications in another state and got 2 calls within hours from this number.  Didn't answer either one.  Not going to now.   It's easier to just block the numbers than ask to be removed from the list when they aren't going to do it.   Most just change their caller ID to a new number that rings back to nothing.  It's called number translation.  It's how toll free numbers work.  Someone calls from a specific number and it can look like it's coming from a different number.   If you call the number back, it doesn't route anywhere and disconnects.   When you call a toll free number, that number points to a number that nobody knows except the owner and the provider.  A business can call you from a number they own but make your caller ID show any number they choose.  Including numbers that are in your cell phone directory, any local business, including the police department.  I've had a telemarketer call me and my cell phone said "Grandma".  I answered it thinking it was my sweet grandmother, nope... someone trying to sell me a newspaper subscription.  I call the number back and my grandmother answers.  Its all about the routing.  Ever call an unknown number back and ask what they needed only to be told they never called you?   It was someone else who used that number as their outbound caller ID to try to get you to answer.   I just don't answer unknown numbers.  If it's important, they can leave a message.  No message?  I research the number.  In this case, I find out what it is and just block it.   Hope this information helps someone.

    Here's the deal
I used to conduct surveys over the phone. So believe me when I tell you that you being on the "do not call list" means jack squat. Why? Because your number was most likely randomly generated from a computer using a valid area code and prefix from your area. Just tell them not to call you again, and if it's a reputable company they will listen.

I just got a call at 830am. So what's this you don't call except between 4 to 9p.m.??  I get up to 4 calls a day.  I do not want to answer any survey questions.  I do not do surveys not even if there is a chance of a cash prize.

I used to work at a research call center while I was in college. I was quite good at it and it was lucrative for me. I gladly take these calls if I have the time and will answer if they call back.

your company calls cell phones at five minutes to 9.

Have you considered acquiring some useful skills and getting a real job that doesn't involve calling people who really don't give a rat's ass that you'd starve if you didn't annoy people for a paycheck?

I hope the judge laughed his ass off and kicked you out of his courtroom. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in the Internet.

Total scam. They pretended to be apple care and wanted me to give them access to my computer!  Their number showed up on an iPhone screen that said "your device has been locked. Call apple care at this number". Well all I had to do was close the safari screen. I wasn't really locked. Do NOT talk to these people. Sounds like an Indian from a call center in India (lots of people on the phones in the background.)

I don't think this is a research company at all. They were trying to get control of my computer by having me go to their website and give them permission to access my computer. I didn't of course, and when I asked him who he really was, he swore up and down that he was Apple care and that I was overreacting! It was quite funny to hear him squirm.

Well, I don't want to talk to you, so stop calling.  I don't give a rat's a$$ what information you collect.  You have no right to it.  You call my home, you don't expect me to be polite.  I didn't invite you in.

9:00 pm your time is 11:00pm my time.  It's a bit late for surveys don't you think?  Perhaps you should rethink your call times when calling the east coast.
