I don't think this is a research company at all. They were trying to get control of my computer by having me go to their website and give them permission to access my computer. I didn't of course, and when I asked him who he really was, he swore up and down that he was Apple care and that I was overreacting! It was quite funny to hear him squirm.

Well, I don't want to talk to you, so stop calling.  I don't give a rat's a$$ what information you collect.  You have no right to it.  You call my home, you don't expect me to be polite.  I didn't invite you in.

9:00 pm your time is 11:00pm my time.  It's a bit late for surveys don't you think?  Perhaps you should rethink your call times when calling the east coast.

HR/Marketing: Seems you are able to justify your position, but your story does not get you anywhere with me - or others I bet. Telemarketing to private line subscribers is an imposition that has been abused too long. Hopefully the laws will be changed to further restrict it.

How it works replies to Calleee
What you have to realize is that the clients that employ these types of companies are the politicians. Congressman, senators, governors, state assemblymen, super pacs, and basically any type of politician trying to get elected. You know, the people we put in office to make the laws. Businesses also employ these companies for market research purposes and guess what they donate to campaigns of said law makers. Even government agencies and healthcare organizations use this type of research usually for purposes of solving community issues. Also, keep in mind every time you register to vote that information is public record.

I think I've read about this before but under a different number.  I didn't answer and will block future calls.  I'm not spending  30 minutes with anyone unless it's my BFF.
