Regulations have changed, these survey companies can call til 10PM on certain projects.

Called March 24 at 6.30.  Thankfully phone has "distinct" telemarketer ring so  didn't answer.  No message left, just background office noises until time was up.

Picked up phone and heard office noise but noone spoke so I hung up.

10AM on a Sunday morning - and hung up when I answered. Please people - Sunday morning??? Give me a break!

Can anyone provide examples and where to purchase these AutoDialers

phoned at 6:45 PDT on April 22, 2010 when answered no response just clicking and redailed called "LPN Search" by a machine asked to transfer to Supervisor just continued ringing when contected never talked to a human.

to you people that say "Just turn off the ringer" or "don't answer it" or "grow some balls and just tell them to remove your number from their call list". Did i give them my number?

I only expect to get calls from people I gave my number to. No one else. Not a research company, nor a telemarketing company.

So yes, it does annoy me when they call no matter the day or time!!!!!

The national pandemic of telephone terrorism perpetrated by desperate criminal collection agencies is because they are trying to terrorize people who are naive enough to answer and submit to unsolicited telephone calls or written "collection" letters that have no legitimate legal debt associated with them or any of the companies, universities, or whomever else they claim to represent. Because most "little guys" were bankrupted by the criminal Wall St/Congress/Big Oil/Big Business/Military robber barrons, so the desperate collection agencies are attempting to collect unpaid debts from innocent people by terrorizing them into submission.

Word of advice. NEVER answer any calls you don't recognize or are not expecting. Use selective call rejection service if available, or switch to an Internet-based telephone service which provides comprehensive call rejection options. If rogue calls become chronic, turn off all the ringers on all of your phones except one, and set its volume to the minimum setting. If you don't answer the call and the caller is legitimate, they will usually leave a voicemail after the first or second try. Rogue callers never leave voicemail messages because that could be used as evidence against them if it came to a lawsuit. If you receive a rogue letter in the mail warning you of some "collection" action against you, if you don't actually owe it, reply with a short letter stating that you don't owe it, you've never done any business with them of any kind, and you expect the collection agency to close the matter, stop harrassing you and take any bad credit marks they've caused off of your credit rating, and furthermore, that any further contact from them must be in writing and signed on their official business correspondence letterhead. Send your letter to them a.s.a.p., always within thirty days, first class certified mail return receipt requested. If they refuse it and you get the letter back unopened, leave it unopened and save it in your files as evidence against them should they pursue legal action against you. If they did receive it and continue to pursue action against you, let them. The judge will throw it out of court. Warn all your friends about this rash of desperate collection agency terrorism, and how to combat it.

Above all, keep a record of everything, of every rogue call w/ caller ID information displayed including time and day of each call. Maintain a complete file on any snail-mailed intimidation from rogue collection agencies, including copies of all correspondences and postal receipts.

Keep that to youreself! Still a telemarketer. You want my opinion on banks: they are charging to much; on Tims: crappy coffee and too expensive, with aditives, too; the list can go on. Do not ask on the fone are you X or Y; that is not polite. Present yourself first!

Claimed to be doing a survey on the actions of the RCMP.....A female voice east Indian accent....

Called today, Saturday at around 11:15 a.m. Was out. Hang up on answering machine. Call display only showed number and long distance. From this site I now know who called and will block the number.

I just got a call from this number at 7:30pm today.  When I picked up the phone no one talked to me and I said hello a few times.  I could hear two males speaking to each other and one called the other a F****N A*****E on the phone and I couldn't believe that they would talk this way and they were so rude to each other that I hung up still hearing a few more profanities as I was hanging up.  This is so unprofessional and I am so angry.  When I called to speak to a supervisor no one answered I am really irritated and do not want them to call again and if they do I have a few choice words for them.

This was some sort of survey where they called at 9:55 at NIGHT!!!!!!!!  If people are doing surveys or whatever and are calling outside their area code maybe they should GET A CLUE AND NOT CALL WHEN PEOPLE ARE GETTING READY TO GO TO BED!!!!!!  They woke my kids, and scared me half to death calling that late. The only information I've ever gotten that late from an "Unknown Number" in an area I'm not familiar with is bad news.

Why is a number that traces back unpublished, Montreal, QC, QC, Quebec, Canada going after folks far away in another country?  This co. has to be a scam.  Other Canada numbers are doing this now?  Did they run out of folks in their country to scam?

Located in Montreal. Apparently, the law allows market research firms to call households up to 10PM now. Used to be 9PM.

This number is calling the states, because they conduct studies with residents in Canada and the USA.

Recently there are have been studies conducted in the gulf coast region on the oil spill.

The RCMP probably hired Opinion Search to conduct this survey on their behalf.

I get this number calling me everyday on my cell and everyday I answer and nobody is on the other end. I now have the number blocked with my Blackberry.

Called me aug 29 (sunday) at 5:50pm. But no name on call display. So far that is all.

Well, to be honest it's my telephone number and I will handle it how I see fit. The company deserves whatever vulgarity or disrespectful responses they get when they intrude on another persons phone number without invitation. I would not recommend working for this company any further.
