I received this call at 1:40 pm on 4/20/2009 but missed it. I called back three times but got a busy signal. No voicemail, and I live in Fulton, Missouri for college but my cell phone is registered in Arkansas so no idea why they would call it.

This is just the main number for the state of Missouri.  It could be any state agency that was calling, there is no way to tell. Don't worry about the calls.  If some state agency wants to reach you, they will.

They called my landline phone and hung up, i dialed #69 and it said 573-522-0000

This number keep calling me and never leaves a message, I try to call it
back and the phone just rings?

Received a call from this number this morning I did not answer and no message was left.

It was the Missouri Department of Revenue with questions about taxes!

573-522-0000 is the telephone number that shows up on caller ID when you get a call from most State of Missouri departments, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Missouri Department of Revenue.  This is not a call back number and the state employee that called you should have given you a call back number in the voice mail if a voice mail message was left.  Thank you.

Called was placed to a business in North Kansas City Mo.  Missed the call, having just visited in that area code over the holiday I thought it might be something important.  That's when I found this site....?????

Apparently missed a call from this number on Friday May, 29 at 10:39 AM.  Later in the day I received a phone call from the MO unemployment office in Saint Louis, too -- from a different number with a 314 area code (which is the Saint Louis are code; I don't know where 573 is even from).  Weird, but thought I'd post it.

Just remembered one other thing about the call: it was a robo-call saying I had to call another number.

Anytime you get a call from a State office, this is the number that will appear on your caller I.D. I'm in the process of negotiating 2 contracts with the State of Missouri and anytime they call me, it comes through on this number. It could be the Department of Revenue coming after you for back taxes, the Secretary of State's Office, anyone.

This number keeps calling my landline they dont leave a message and i never seem to get to the phone in time typically call after I have been on the phone conducting other business usually during the day

If you are in business in MO, this is usually the MO Department of Labor.

same deal....missed the call and when I called back got no answer....what the hell

I got a call on my mobile this morning. 8:43 A.M.  They left a computerized voice message with a information that I had entered yesterday in the Missouri unemployment new claims website.
The message instructed me to call back 314-877-0001.
I tried to call several time time but the call ends before I get anyone.

I got two calls from this # also...I think they are looking to collect money for the highway patrol fund raiser....who knows.

I received a call from this number, I didnt answer it and it was a recorded message from the Missouri Department of Revenue with questions about my Missouri State Tax.

I have received 5 calls in 15 minutes from this number, sounds like a fax machine trying to connect.  But my number is an Illinois number and this is my cell phone.  Very frustrating.

We get several of these calls a day, sounds like a fax coming through... VERY FRUSTERATING!
