- Curiousgot a call from this number at 5 am , missed it , when i called back it just rings. i dont know ..... ????
- David Stein573-522-0000 is a MO. Dept. of revenue. They are on a hot line so not only does it not show the real number that they are calling from but you cant call it back. It will just keep ringing. They are calling about income or business taxes associated with that number. You can call them back at 573 526 5249.
- SusanI have a child support case that is being worked on since my kids have started college. They left a message from this number & had me call back their direct line. I think this is just a main switchboard line for all state of Missouri related business calls.

- BarbaraThis appears to be the default Missouri State Government number. We have the same thing here in Colorado state government - when we call out from our direct lines, it goes out through a main number that doesn't belong to anyone. That number is what shows up on the recipient's caller ID, and it's not a number you can call back. Seems like the same thing with this Missouri number.
- aNDYIt is 11:50am. Since 8:00am this # has called some 30 times. No one is at the other end, just an annoying beep and when I call it back it is busy. Please help!
- aNDYCalled 573-526-5249and it was the MO Dept of Revenue. I asked them if they know the # 573-... they said it is theirs. I asked them to stop calling me. They took all my info phone #, address, ssn# and they said I dont exist! YEAH! What now?
- StevenI have had two calls from this number today. When i just tried to call back, it rang several times then said that the wireless customer I am calling is unavalible at this time, please try again later. IDK
- SJI received a miss call on 2-2-10 at 1022pm. Does anyone know anything else about this#. I just keeps ringing when I call it back
- PuddintainGot a call from this main number from the State of Missouri. I answered, there was no one on the line. I live in Georgia although I used to live in Missouri. Suspect people up to no good are spoofing with the main number for the State of Missouri.
- Caller: MISSOURI STATE
- AnonRead through the messages people. It is a Missouri government office calling from Jefferson City. At this time of year most likely it will be the MO dept of revenue calling about taxes. They are calling me because I never filed for 2008. Likely you have something in the mail from them too.
- Call type: Debt collector
- curiousI just received a call from this number also , asking for a name close to mine. the caller DAWN left a message stating she was from the Mo Dept of Transportation following up on a report on one of their highway workers. the number she left for me to call back was 573-526-6994. I returned her call, she even answred the phone Mo Dept of Transportation and she said a person (with a a name close to mine) reported a highway worker when she was on her way to the emergency room with her kids and this "dawn" was following up on the report. Funny how she said the report caller had givin MY cell phone as a call back number and had my OLD home phone number from 3 yrs ago as a alternative call back number to this caller. This sounds very fishy and I do not believe they are from MO DOT, since they had all my numbers but a different 1st name. If in fact they are POSING as a MO DOT office, they should be reported!!! She would have gotten somewhere with me if she had of told me the truth of why she was calling!!!
- Caller: Mo Dept of Transportation???
- deb replies to Josephyes it is the ATF but this could also be a general number for the state of Missouri
- LisaI got a call at 7:38am. Caller ID read Missouri State. Everyone knows state offices don't open that early! So, I let the answering machine pick up. No message was left. I waited a few minutes and tried to call it back. No answer. I did a reverse look up on the net and it says that it is a landline in Jefferson City.
- Caller: Missouri State
- JillReceived call at 3:41 pm on June 16; caller idea said Missouri State. I was on another call, so I missed it. Thought it was strange that a call from Missouri State University in the 417 area code was calling us from a 573 area code.
