I have received the same calls to.  At first they scared me to death and I paid them some money on a very old loan that was super inflated.  I then called and asked them for documentation and they keep giving me the run around. I even went so far as to stop my debit card and get another one because I made the mistake of giving it to them the first time. I am super scared but I think they are scamming me on the amount and harassing me when I call.  Saying I am going to jail, etc.  Don't know what to do.

yeah they called me on my cell phone then at work and said they were serving me a summon in my town and that would have to go to court and that they were going to have my wages garnished

They called me today on a debt, they started telling me that my career license would be revoked, my wages would be garnished ect..They had all sorts of info on me including my place of employment. I spoke with a Nicole Edwards at first and asked her what this company name was and everything, when I asked her if they were Hollander Chase and Assoc. she said no they were Cohen Swhartz and Assoc. she spelled Schwartz wrong too, when I asked her to spell it.  She was never rude, but she did switch me over to a Ms Simmons (whom was not rude either) but who started discussing payment arrangements/options. Believing everything, I frantically worked out an arrangement and gave them my green dot card number. I was told if the payment was not collected on the date we agreed that I would have legal action taken upon me.  After the call I spoke with my fiance about it and thats when he informed me that it was BS.  No legal office has a call center, or has the power to revoke a license..which was my red flag but i figured since they had so much info on me, they must be real.  So heres my question, had I began paying them, would the money be paying off my debt or would it just be lining their pockets and I get screwed?

Yeah whatever you probably work there, how is it possible that you are the only one-out of many people that had a 'good experince" with them. Give me a break.. Try something else.

This company calls up and claims that they are a "Schwatz Law Firm" and there is a case involving
our Social Security. Meanwhile all they are are Debt (Bill) Collectors using lies to get you to call. When you do call they use  threats to force you to pay whether you owe the debt or not. Even if the Statute of Limitation has expired or you claim that you paid it

I received a call from David Rice from this number claiming to be from Cohan, Schwartz & Assoc.  I didn't answer the phone.  He just left a message.  The number the called from was 678-341-5666, which when I called back was Hollander, Chase & Assoc.  Here's some advise.  Next time they call you, ask them to give you their Bond #.  They are required to have a bond #.  Contact your Secretary of State.  They will be able to tell you if these people are bonded to collect in your state.  I live in TX.  I looked up both names and neither of the names are bonded to collect here.  He's called me every morning for the last 3 days.  Won't give out any other info.  Says I have to call him back to get more info.  Just mail me something.  Do you honestly think I'm going to give you all my information over the phone just like that?  Idiots!

I've been getting these calls for 3 days now! They mostly call on weekends when I'm trying to sleep, or on weekdays when I'm at work! I'm really blowing my cool with these people & if I ever find out who the HELL these MAGGOTS are, There will be hell to pay!!!

i really don't know who these people are but they wont work with you on solving anything, i've told them several times to quit calling me at work but they still do. i've told them to send me legal documentation through e-mail or my home address and they refuse to do so. i'm guessing they're a hoax. i'm waiting on that letter in the mail ms fantroy or whatever your nsme is.......STOP THE THREATS, YOU KNOW MY ADDRESS or e-mail me.

after receiving the messages for another family member who didn't pay her bills,  I returned the call by dialing their number  (678)-341-5585 and simply told them my number was not her phone number and asked to have it removed from their records. They were polite and removed the number. They are a firm that represents Aaron's rentals. You have to actually speak to someone and I just listened for the options and hit 0 for the operator.

Received a call from "Cohen Schwartz & Assoc." a pre-recorded message stating that a call needed to be returned to "Mr. Allen" at the LAW OFFICE at once!

When I called back to inform them they were calling a business, they had our "800" number as a contact number!  I told her to remove it.  We'll see.

i have received numerous calls also.  i never answer, but they always leave a mess. to call a Mr. Allen w/ an important mess. form cohen, swartz and assoc. about an important matter and to call them at 678-341-5585 and then to press 0.  i have never had an acct. w/ Aaron's or anything, so are you sure it is for Aaron's?  Anyway, i don't plan on calling them back.  I was told once by my lawyer that if they don't live in your state, they aren't going to come after you cuz it would take too much money to file a lawsuit against state lines.  Hope he's right cuz that is what i have been going off of for 12 years now.

So to be safe, I'm calling the State Attorney's office for clarification.

I received a call today at my employers which I am not allowed to have personal calls.  They left their name and phone number on the company voice mail.  I do not know who these people are and I could lose my job if they call here again.

So I am the receptionist for a physical therapy facility in TN. We keep getting messages left on our answering machine from "Colin, Schwartz & Associates Law Firm" which is apparently non-existent considering even Google cannot locate them. The # when traced does show to be calling from Cummings, GA. However the person calling identifies themself as a "Mr. Allen" saying we have business with them & it is very urgent we call back! Certainly seems like a scam to me, one very similar to a foreign speaking man I have gotten in the past screaming rude things into the phone & hanging up on you when you ask information. Sorry, but I am not giving out mine nor anyone else's information over the phone if you can't tell me what it's for. Ha! BEWARE!!!

Well, they called me too. When I called back, the voice mail says that they are cohen, schwartz & Assoc. "If you were served with a summons and complaint ask to speak to legal, otherwise push 0 for an operator." I pushed 0 and it said that the estimated wait time was 6 minutes. I waited longer than that and then hung up. I will try again later. Whatever you do, do call them back. I work for a law firm and let me tell you that it is way better to try to get things resolved before you are actually served with a lawsuit.
