This company will not stop calling me and harassing me. I filed bankruptcy and all my debt was discharged 2 weeks ago yet they continue to call me. So I decided to figure out how we can all file complaints against them for misrepresentation of a law firm and harassment. This company keeps calling and telling me I owe money. Says they are a law office and will proceed with court orders if I do not pay. I asked who it is I am supposed to owe and when they gave me the name of some place I have never heard of I got a copy of my credit report and there is no such place showing I have ever done business with them. How can companies like this operate and not be sanctioned somehow???????

Called and called,then i tried to call them back to tell them they weren`t listed as a law office..put me on hold for 15 mintutes..i hung up! hope they call back, i`m going to use my good personality thus time.

They started callin my mom yesterday but first got ahold of my uncle who got worried cause they told him she would go to jail and they would put a 1500 bench warrent out and so she called me and gave me some bernard west and his ext. Number to which to reach him I did get ahold of him and he said there a ledigation firm but when talkin to him I noticed allot of background noise also before I called I called the place my mom supposely owed and they said the case was closed out so then I told him he got very silent and said I will transfer u to a manger never did get one I believe this is a scam

You don't have to contend with being harassed. Send the company a certified letter demanding they cease contact with you other than a letter of final action. You can Google the phone number as it appears on your caller ID to get the company name or you can search the number at BBB.org to get company info and complaint history. It appears this company also operates under the name Empire Asset Group

They my cell and job daily and have a attitude....no web page and the address says it Peter and Simon.....and they told me today they are a law firm.....scam

They called my ex husband saying i was going to court if didnt call make arrangements me and ex husband got into it because they find his number in phone book. Had my cell number changed filed report with local police department because they were saying they were police department . This is [***] something needs to be done with this foriegn people because its not right and getting calls at work. Dont give them no information its a scam ive had it. They need to get a life. DON'T GIVE ANY INFORMATION OUT!

Many of the activities of this collection agency are against the law, but you have to actually report them to the government agency that is responsible for monitoring these types of agencies. Here is the information you will need when filing the FTC report. It's far better time spent then posting on this topic as it will actually be taken care of.

Of course if you don't report the abuse to the FTC, they cannot do anything about it!

I have just had 5 calls back to back from this number. I do not have to answer because with my phone I am able to "block" the call. It only rings once here and then hangs up..... too bad this is not an available option with every phone. I can only block so many numbers so every once in a while I have to delete all the blocked numbers, not answer, and block again.
I don't know who these people are, but I never answer numbers I don't know, even legitimate 800 numbers will have a valid name on the caller ID.

They have been calling me repetedly for someone by the name of Rochell Wright.  Each time I've called back and said I have never heard of her.  They keep calling.

And they use these names like Officer Monroe, Agent Green, and saying this is your last chance before a warrant is issued for your arrest.

These A holes have been calling me for over 2 yrs. If they REALLY have  a "lawsuit against me" as they claim then I would have been served w/ papers by now.

It is a total scam. Don't let them intimidate you.

The 1st time they called they scared the crap out of me as they called my MOTHER ( how they got her name and # I have no idea since we don't even have the same last name) and told her that they had a warrant out for my arrest.

When I called back I was infomed this was in relation to a pay day loan that I took out OVER  7 yrs ago. So even if I hadn't paid it  ( which I did) too late now!!!

But this woman proceeds to ask me , "why did you take out a loan if you knew you couldn't pay it back?" NON OF YOUR F'ING BUISNESS!!

Then she puts me on hold and disconnects me. I then googled the number and found out that this is a total scam. Luckily I didn't give her any info.

I called the FTC and she infomed me that in VA they can not arrest your for non payment of a payday loan, the most they can do is garnish your wages. If this "law firm" was legit they would have followed legal procedures and I would have been notified by the COURTS in WRITING not from this Bitc&% calling from this bogus company.

Their practices are illegal and yes they are violating fair debt collection. What they are doing is harrasment and I wish some one could pin them down and sue their a**.

What is really pissing me off, is now they have started calling my co-workers DEMANDING to speak w/ me.  ANOTHER VIOLATION OF THE LAW.  

Don't call these people back. They are NOT a Law Firm and if you do really owe the money, then they would take it to court and you would be served w/ LEGAL documentation.

My 85 year old Mom got a call yesterday from this scam artist. The woman pretended to be an investigator, said her name was Cynthia Mathews, ext 414. The number seems to be a land line in [***], GA.  She told my mother if I didn't call them by 6, pm they would issue a warrant out for my arrest. That was cruel.  Cynthia, if you reading this, I hope you fry in hell!  She said there was a complaint made against me and some serious allegations and that it was imperative I return her call.  I know you're trying to make a living a your crappy job, but there has to be a better way.  Shame on you.

Excuse me but I have received numerous calls from this company and others just like it.  They are always "looking for" someone I am associated with.  Anyone can get phone numbers and addresses off the internet.  Intimidating and threatening people does not accomplish anything.  Personally, calling me to get information on someone else, I could care less whether other people pay their bills.  I know I don't owe anything so I have just stopped answering their calls.
