To the person that posted a comment with a phone number listed as 678-341-5585.....YOU ARE A SCAM!!!  I JUST called you and you answered as Cohen and Schwartz....but I ALREADY knew that you have also gone under, and may STILL be going under Peter Simon and Associates with the phone number of (678) 321-1141, with the SAME address as people are listing on here that Cohen Schwartz is giving.  Why the hell are YOU on this website? Huh? You scared and wanna see what people are saying and if you are busted yet and need to change your name yet once again?  Let me tell you hun, this too ALMOST happened to me...what you are trying to do to other people...and they have been found and are now in prison.  Everyone if you are getting these phone calls go to google maps and pull up the address they are giving you....I have 2778 Cumberland Blvd. Ste 345 Smyrna, Ga 3008.  When you do, you will find its in on a freaking sidewalk!!  Not even a building there!!  Please report them!  They can and WILL be caught if we all work together and team up on these [***]!  Sorry for the foul language but it ticks me off that these jerks think they can get away with this!!

To all who have recieved a phone call from a Cohen and Schwartz (678-341-5585)...it is a SCAM!!  They are also going in together with another supposed law firm called Peter Simon and Associates with a phone number of (678-321-1141).  I just called Peter Simon and Associates and they posed to be a carpeting company!!!  LOL!!!!  Pull both these companies up under the address of 2778 Cumberland Blvd Ste 345  Smyrna, GA 30080 and you will see that they both have the SAME address and if you look at the street view on the map they are in the middle of a freaking sidewalk! There is no building!!  This just happened to me with another supposed law firm so I am determined to research all of these idiots and stop them from scamming people!  Its insane!!!  Please join me!!

These people are rude and threatening.  We do not know the person they are searching for and have repeatedly advised them this and are told they won't call again.  Today (6Mar12) they left
a message on our voicemail and when I returned their call, they were threatening legal action because we "are hiding" info on this person they are looking for.  First they told me they haven't
been calling us and then when I gave them the name they were looking for, they started being
rude and threatening.

I received a message on my cell phone on 3/14/12 from Karen Walker from Cohen, Schwartz and Associates in Atlanta GA. She said she has a pended judgement against me that was going to be filed with my county and it was important I call her at 770-239-6720 extention 810. I called. She said she is a collection agency for Loanpoint USA. (payday loan company) and that I owe $960.00. She knew the last 4 of my social security number, my address, and my cell phone number. I said I will need to set up a payment arrangement. I did have a payday loan at one time from Loanpoint USA, so I believed this to be legitimate. She transferred me to Mr. Rasindo - Legal Outsource Division. He was very nasty. He said "Ms XXXXX, we are both adults here, you know you owe this debt so unless you want us to send this pending suite to your local jurisdiction, I would pay at a minimum $310.00 today." I explained again, I did not have the money to pay anything today but could pay some on 3/30/12 After arguing with me he finally agreed to a payment of $310.00 on 3/30 and the rest to follow. He said he will NOT set up a payment schedule with me until he sees that I am going to make the payment of $310.00 on 3/30. He will then set up payments. He transfered me back to Mrs Karen Walker who took my debit card information and set up payment. I researched online the company "Cohen, Schwartz and Associates and there are MANY complaints filed regarding this company and it is a scam. I called Loanpoint USA to ask if they use Cohen, Schwartz and Associates to handle collections and they said no, they have their own division that handles. I then called my bank and discussed that I believe I was scammed and I canceled my debit card so they cannot take any funds. I did this all on the same day 3/14/12. Today, I received 2 messages so far from Karen Walker 770-239-6720 x 810. I filed a complaint with my Attorney Generals office - Consumer Complaints as well as Attorney Generals Office - No Call division as invasion of privacy. Indianapolis, IN

This number  814 320 0210 always calling me and threatening me that someone file against me and I'll be getting investigate for the payday loans that I didn't payback... I have some payday loans but all active and paid on time.. I'm keep asking what company and their company but giving a rude responses...

Pay your bills PPL and this a really Company.. I my self I'm a bill collector and Sorry to say if you don't pay your Bills from years ago.. Believe me they'll catch you.. It's call skip tracing they call your family members and neighbors ETC ..ETC .. I researched the company and it is legit I had a family member that owed them money for three years.. Will the company he owed set it to COHEN & SCHWARTZ and there number is 770-239-6720.. I had my Attorney look in to it and he advised that my family member pay this off.. Bc they have the legal right to take you to court and you pay the court cost attorney fees.. So my advise to ppl out there per my Attorney.. Get names, confirmation # after you pay them off.. A legal document send to you via E-MAIL and a letter send to you physical address.. Also don't pay with a CREDIT CARD.. Load a Walmart Visa card.. Just some FYI!!! my family memeber spoke to a man name George Granderson ID # 5304  at 770-239-6720 EXT 802.. Believe they will work with you not against you.. I know it's hard times for us all and the world is going to end in Dec 2012 ( right ) Oh yes my family member did get papers to be taken to court.. That is when i call my Attorney and took the papers to him and they were really documents to take ACTION.. He paid it that Day, he got lucky thanks to my attorney. I just wanted to share the bad experience and how ppl borrow money and think bill collector will go away.. You can report them but you get NO were.. I get these calls. A Mr. Montsort speaks tomy 78 year old mother and tells her he is sending the county police for me. There must be a way to hold these people accountable for their illegal collection methods.

Calls everyday threaten to take me to court they are very rude and won't answer any of my questions.

Yes I did the same thing and gave them my debit card number.  The lady I spoke with was very nice but if this is a scam then I will not put another dime on the card.

I've been getting phone calls from a Stacy Johnson.. She said that I had a outstanding payday loan but I didn't reconize the company. I told her I wasn't giving any CC info over the phone with out more information, I asked for a certified letter and she told me " I don't have time for that". Then proceeded to tell me I was going to be sued. After that conversation I recieved more phone calls from Stacy Johnson. After about a week or so I started getting phone calls from Leonard Phillips from Cohen, Schwartz and assc. (probably from the next cubical from Stacy)... In short Stacy mentoned she knew all about me and even mentioned my bank, I laughed cause it wasn't even my bank.... So be warned. If I did have a legitimate debt I would think I would recieve a certified letter or A letter...

I got a call from this company and immdediately reported this info to the Attorney Generals office. First they called my home and then next week or so they were calling  my job advising they were going to send someone to my job to serve me w/court papers.They are some compnay out of Georgia and anyone that gets a call from them should report it to their Attorney General's office.

I receive call daily from Mr Battle who claims he's an investigator from ABC Int'l or sometimes Cohen Swartz and Assoc. I encourage ALL OF YOU to go to the website  ftc.gov/complaint and file your complaint with the federal trade commission. If enough of you do this, perhaps it will stop them. People like these will always exist and we as consumers must be leary of their practices. Tell all your friends on facebook, twitter etc. about this and perhaps we can stop them.

This company call me and I must be naive because they were calling me about a bouce check I did with a payday loan and I explain to them what happen(how I lost my job for three years). They were rude, heartless. They told me they are last company to go thru and they can sign me over to the state and I can deal with jail or a warrant for my arrest but it will be up to the state. I have never had a bouce check or been in trouble with the law so I got scared and gave them my account info to make payment out of the part time job i have now. I want to cry because it has taken majority of my check and I have a daughter which cause me to take a loan so i can get by. I don't want to go jail. Reading what you all have said, make me feel like a fool. Now, I don't know how to back off from this or know who they really are.
