I would say, you shouldn't answer the phone in the first place, let alone to discuss with them about your real or fake advisor.
The best bet is to block number.

medical bills don't go against your credit . just change your number  to private   . they cant call then . if you owe nothing report them to the attorney gen office .  best to not even talk to anyone calling cold could be anyone  from anywhere.hang up  is best .  bunch of scammers , crooks,  cruds and [***] out there.

I was married to a medical debt collections  agent for thirteen years and any collection agency that tells you that you HAVE to pay through the collection agency and not directly to whom the debt is owed is a LIAR!   When a debtor doesn't pay through the collection agency choosing instead to pay the debt directly to whom the debt is owed, the collection agency loses the commission on the debt. This is why collection agencies will insist you pay them directly and become combative when don't pay through them. As with most things in life, it's all about the money.

I never had any bills for them to collect.  Yet they keep calling me.i blocked them but they leave a voicemail always saying that i need to call the back.

if you medical people would stop charging outrageous fees for things like ex-rays and mri's we could pay. An x-ray should only be ten to twenty dollars NOT several hundred. so go soak your head

Yes I pay them 50.00 a month on a 22,000.00 bill and won't ever get it paid off at this rate but all I can do.

This number has called me twice since July 19 and says to wait on the phone and someone will be with me. I don't wait but want to know why they are calling.
