Clearly he is full of crap especially since he emailed me right back with this "form" letter when asking the price even though the price was on the ad.

It seems this email/scammer has been doing the rounds since 2011 so pls beware. Have reported it to gumtree.

Just got text regarding car sale on Gumtree to email rslinder1@gmail.com - glad I checked google as seemed strange info requested in text was in the add.

Same scam. Just received email from a car ad I posed on Gum Tree from number 07520 682492 saying "Is your ad on gumtree still available? Repy me back via email rslinder1 at gmail.com I don't get text thanks".

Just got the same email in response to a Gumtree ad selling my car placed last night.

Scary isn't it - but not surprising in this day and age!

For a marine engineer - her email has many English grammar mistakes which was my second alert??? the rest is history!!

Same email from  a so called Rose Linder accepting to buy a car from Gumtree using PayPal.  Do not be fooled into it!

Yep they nearly had me right there. Never sent paypal details but sent her a payment request from paypal. Away to change all password etc now for everything just in case this leper manages to hack into anything.

The number called from was 07418 354252 & 07520 653541.

What an [***], I hope they get caught.
