Got a call from this number a minute ago. Answered. It was a recording saying I won 10 000 bonus airmiles points. Hung up while on hold after searching the number online and seeing everyones posts

I got a call this morning on my cell phone with the same recorded message: "Congratulations, you have won 10,000 air miles.  Please press 1 to collect...".    I have my numbers on the Do Not Call list (which actually has reduced these annoying calls almost completely on my home phone) and this was obviously not a legit contest,  so I did I just hung up.   Hoping they don't call back.

I got a call today, automated machine told me I had won 10,000 airmiles, and to press 1. I hung up. Definitely a scam.

Just  had the 10,000 air miles call.  I hung up of course!!!

It's a scam to try to get your credit card #

I got calls from them too, twice this week, saying that I won air miles. Thanks to them I have started using my call blocking service for the first time. Nice job scammer!

Interesting, mine was 10000 free air miles. Sure like to know how they got my personal cell phone number.

Same scam, just got a call from this number with an obviously automated voice telling me I just won 10,000 air miles.  I pressed "End" instead of 1.  Off to report this to the Do Not Call folks, another obvious scam.

For me the robot message just said I would receive 10,000 air mile points if I pressed one!  Of course all I did was hang up.

This number called my SK cellphone and an automated message said I won 10,000 AIR MILES points (sounds just a little too good to be true). To accept I was supposed to press one. I don't have my cell phone number on my AIR MILES account. So instead of hanging up or pressing one I waited to see what would happen. Normally an automated message will repeat itself. However, waiting resulted in them automatically hanging up. Interesting. Went to the AIR MILES website and sure enough it's a scam.

Called my SK cell - didn't pick up (unknown AB #?) didn't leave msg - must be autodialing all numbers stoopid jerks.

This number called my home fax number last night.  Obviously there was no fax that came through.  Strange thing though, I got into work this morning and the number is on my call display from last night also (no message).  So they have my home fax number and my work number.

This # JUST called my cell phone and I didn't answer it.  Typed # into google and it took me here.  Glad I didn't answer!!  Aren't marketing companies aware that the WORST marketing strategy EVER is telemarketing?!!  and if it's someone trying to scam....then they should go get a real job.

I got several calls from those stuped people. just recorded message. "Yo have been choosen for plaplaplaaplaap"

I just got the same Air Miles message (on my personal cell phone), press 1 blah blah blah... and while I was writing down the phone number, it automaticaly disconnected.

Something that is too good to be true... probably is.

SCAM

I am on the Do Not Call list as well and these idiots continue to call me.  When I tried calling the number back I got a not in service message.  My next message will be to the CRTC.
