I just got a call saying I'd won 10,000 airmiles from some robot. It was on my cell and I'm on the do not call list.

I received a phone call from this number tonight and they said I had won 10,000 air miles and they put me on hold and suddenly I was talking to someone who wanted my credit card number for a resort.  How did they get my personal cell phone number?

This call messed up our cell phone even though we did not answer. We could not dial a call nor turn off the phone, and the screen was upside down. We had to eject the battery and reboot before getting rid of it (hopefully).

Please stop these jerks!

Are these calls coming because I put our numbers on the "Do Not Call" list? Apparently they have 30 days not to call, but in the meantime, do they give our numbers out to more unscrupulous people who will call us forever?

Got a call on my work phone number - I won 10,000 Airmiles.

When I Pressed one, I was asked for a visa # and told I would be purchasing a Vacation.  I asked where they got my number and she said, You pressed 1, we were connected and hung up....

Called the number back, it is not in service...

I just got called from this # with an auto dialer introduction that said I had won 10,000 Airmiles points. Jerks!!

I'm getting really tired of getting calls from this number!

I have a question...
I understand that posting on here helps other people to know this is a scam but what else?  I mean, will having people posting actually do anything to stop them?  I wish our carriers could just give us a way to block numbers - I called Telus and they said they can't do that.

Just got this same # calling me, and I answered.  Robot tells me I've won 10,000 Airmiles reward miles, press 1 to continue...
I hung up.  Screw that - they would email me or call me personally if that were the case.

With Rogers there is this feature called Call Manager
You put in this number and when the autodialer calls in. It won't go through instead they will get an automated message stating this user has blocked you blablabla with call manager. So you will never see this number again on your phone. 5$ a month. unlimitted phone numbers.

Just got the same call as cyn_hall regarding 10000 air miles. Hung up when the guy came on the line.

Got a call on my cell from this number. Nobody on the other line. Goofs better pay my phone bill for wasting my time!
