What a waste of airtime and my time.

Got the "canadian tire travel dollars" scam call from 604-560-8787 on my cell phone today.

i dont wanna be called by this number no more

Just recieved call from this at my private cell phone, did not answer and no message left. attempt to call back number and unable to complete call.

Rec'd at place of work on Tuesday, June 29th at 1:30 AB time

Just missed a call on my cell from this number, I thought it may have been a friend in Alberta. I tried calling back, and "this number is out of service." Effin lame.

I got this call today, called it back and it lists to a disconnected number.

This is a long distance calling scam, if you press 1, you are authorizing somebody to charge long distance calls to your number.

google the number & found it was a scam

I got the same call with the same message as people above me. The funny thing is that I did recently used Canadian Tire to fix my car :)

I received this call today - first time I believe, fumbled with my cell phone and the call stopped after two rings.
780 851 8989 has the same area code as the northern two thirds of Alberta.
This number can be traced to a company in Ontario called Fibernetics Corporation.
This company has nothing whatsoever to do with Edmonton.   They simply facilitate the use of unlisted, untraceable phone numbers which can be used for illegal activities without fear of identification.
Canadian Tire and Bell will have nothing to do with this stuff either.   This kind of crap demands government action to limit it, but such action would require government to act on behalf of the people against "free enterprise" and this will not happen.

Its a robot number from somewhere in Edmonton, according to the reverse-phone number thingy. Doesnt say where, because the number is unpublished.

Hi - also received a call from this number (June 30/10 at 4:08 PM) and initial message said..." you are a Rogers customer and have won $3000 in travel dollars - after a prompt a lady answers the phone from a boiler room (lots of people telemarketing in the background) and asks if I own a Visa, Mastercard, Discovery card"  I HUNG UP THE PHONE.  Just terrible phone solicitation.

im sick of these numbers phoneing i have to switch phone companies rogers sucks i dont even answer if i dont know itbut i as soon as one phones they all phone

Received a call from this number today to my Bell network cell.   No message left.
