Just received a similar call regarding a win of 10,000 Air Miles points, hung up before listening to the whole thing since it's a computer.  Likely a scam.

Got this call today. I am not in Alberta but did live in Edmonton recently. I did not recognize the number however, so did not answer. No message was left.

how did they get my private cell number???  it is just wrong that these scammers called me

They called my work number, which is pretty random.  Said it was 10,000 Air Miles too.  A freaky computer voice.  If you don't press 1, it automatically hangs up on you.  I live in Vancouver.

Tried to call back but this number does not exist and was asked to contact Telus.  Called my cell but missed the call, no message left as usual.

Just got a call from this number. Said I won 10,000 Air Miles.

Everyone please report this fraudster who's too worthless to earn for himself!!! Report it to Phonebusters at 1-888-495-8501. Don't just rely on other people to report it, because if Phonebusters only receives a few reports, they won't take it very seriously, but if they get hundreds of reports, they'll do something about it. Make this fraudster regret it!!!

Got the call....3000 travel miles....actually sounds like a timeshare...offering a discounted vacation.  cant get into website unless u have promo code.

Received a call from this number on Nov 1/10.  I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the # -- no message left.  How do they get private cell phones numbers?

I received a call from this number saying that I had won 10,000 points from airmiles and to press 1. I hung up.

Because you are a valuable Air Miles member, you have just won 10000 points.  To accept, press 1 now.

The message is something like:  "Congratulations, you've won 10,000 points for Air Miles.  Please press 1 to collect your points."  I DID NOT press 1.

I just got called, they stated I won 10,000 airmiles.
My cell phone is also listed on the Do not Call list.

this caller is a cheap shot and I'm calling the cops

I keep getting calls from this number on my cellphone....how do the telemarketers get out numbers?, and does the do not call register actually mean anything?

I got a call from this number too. Just checking to find out where it came from. So some Albertan is up to some sort of scam? I say "Get a life and get a real job" or is that "Get a haircut and get a real job"? Either way...

Got a call from this number at 4:40pm in Edmonton. A robot dialer voice came on and said "Congratulations you just won 10000 free points", I hung up after hearing this.

Thanks for the info "angry" I didn't know that there was a place to report these calls.

got 3 calls from it today... 10,000 air miles... BS... gotta stop answering that number!!!!!!!!!!

The do not call list doesn't mean anything.

Starting to get really angry because of all these calls. We can go to space but cant find out who these people are.
If only i could trace this call i would be ringing this callers doorbell with a barrel of a .45.
