I have received repeated calls. One about "your auto warranty" -- and I don't have a car!

Last one had a cough and a hangup. I believe this was collected through a certain firm using web to SMS form on via Google. They use it to college your cell phone numbers.

Never give out any information! Even if you think it is a company you know, call them back at the number you have for them, not the one they give you.

I am reporting this to the FCC. Check with your phone carrier to block this caller.

Called and left no message.

Received my first call today.  Did not recognize Auto Warranty or phone # so did not answer. I knew that I should not be receiving any calls about an auto warranty.  I am also on the Do Not Call List.  If they continue to call, I will continue to NOT answer.

Come on everyone, not one mention of the complaint form on here?

File a complaint. You MUST not have been client of this company and MUST already have requested they put you on the stop call list.

Warranty Alert! I pressed 2 and they guy said did you want to renew your warranty???????????????????????

I used to enforce FCC guidelines at a teleservices company, they HAVE to put you on their no call list immediately upon requesting so. If they don't, they are liable for hefty fines from the FCC. Their behavior is appalling and very unprofessional. I listed a complaint against them with the FCC. My advice, document the time and date of call, select the do not call option and if they do call back, again log the time and date and go immediately to the FCC complaint site. The only way this will stop is if they get fined.

My phone rang two times, before I could answer, they hung up.

This is a scam, do not give them any information. If they get your information, they can use it and get a title to your car and then claim that you stole theircar.

Just got the same call on my work phone, and then 2 seconds later on my mobile. Sounds like their recording was a bit off, as I only got the end of the message.

3rd call, this time on my Google Voice number.

I did pick it up but I did not talk,  instead I played some Zappa for them until they hung up.

As others have posted, when I answered there was a cough and then they hung up.

Got two different calls from two different numbers today. Both seem to be these auto warranty telemarketing.
My next move will be to have a fog horn handy, press a button to speak to one of their people, and as soon as they come on the line blow the fog horn right in their ear.

I didn't answer, googled the number and found this site: so it's a SCAM!

keep calling me about auto extended warranty and every time I tell them to take me off list, but they keep calling me -- it's harrasment

I just got the call today, called back and heard dead air for about 2 minutes then it went on to tell me about how great it is that I called back.... I then hung up.

I don't answer them at home, so now they're calling me at work!  I had to put my work number on the donotcall.gov registry.  So I think that if they call me at work again, I'll press 1 to get an operator, then put that person on hold until he gives up.  It'll cost the tellmarketer money to stay on the line, and if enough people do this, maybe they'll stop calling.
