Calling to sell car insurance, they warn you that your car warranty has expired and need to get one to drive "safely". Asked them to remove me from the list.

I've repeatedly reported them to the do not call registry. I fear that agency is essentially toothless and probably a waste of taxpayer money and time. I too tried to ask nicely to be removed and the guy blew a whistle in my ear. Today, the guy I talked to called me some not very nice names.

Called from 786-369-7342. Someone coughed but did not say anything. I coughed back and hung up. Had more calls from toll free numbers today. I like the idea of the foghorns.

I keep getting a call from this number and this is a form of telecomminication harassment. If anyone has other information about this company please post it on this site. I want to file a cease and desist letter to stop all calls. I am planning to file a criminal and civil action against this company.

The reason why these people are allowed to solicit unwanted call to us is that we have gave them permission through our telephone provider. They have contracted with the telephone provider to solicit us. Sweepstakes offers and even internet purchases provide unwanted calls. PLEASE BEWARE of what you sign for these solicitation can make you upset and agitated. Call your telephone provider and tell them to remove your name from the list.

I received this call today from "VOIP CALLS". did not answer as I figured it was a telemarketer.  Jeez!  I placed our home # on the do not call list and I still get this telemarketer crap.

I too have gotten these phone calls from several numbers. I answered a couple of times and now I don't answer if I do not recognized the phone number. Instead, I google numbers I do not recognize. Every time I confirm that it is these people calling I add them to my blocked callers list. There is usually a month gap between calls because of this. How do they come up with so many phone numbers anyway?

Did not answer because did not know who it was but have gotten these types of calls before.

i got calls from this number twice. I just hear a cough and thats it. How can i get rid of this and avoid those folks calling me. Please let me know

Auto warranty call.  I do not have a policy.  Talked to a person, who sounded a load tone and hung up when I could not provide a policy number.

Warranty Alert SCAM! Do not answer! I got the call this morning from 1-786-369-7342.  I heard a bunch of people talking in the background (briefly) then a recording came on about the warranty on my car.  I had to deal with this last year and I refuse to deal with it this year. The freaks keep using different phone numbers to annoy everybody.

When the phone rang and showed Warranty Alert on my caller ID, I assumed it was a scam.  The best thing I ever did was to sign up for Call Reject with my phone company.  I can block the number immediately after the call and don't have to put up with repeated calls from scammers.  To everyone experiencing repeated calls from unwanted scammers, telemarketers, etc. I would suggest enrolling in Call Reject.  When telemarkers call (even if you are enrolled in donotcall.gov), you can block their number from calling again.  When they try calling you again, they receive the message that their number has been blocked.  In this day and age, it's so worth it to have Caller ID and Call Reject.

The call was to my cell phone.  I do not answer calls when the number is not recognized.  This site helps keep these strange numbers alerted to others, thanks!

I answered the phone, heard a cough, and they hung up. I called the number back, and there was this long message advertising ways to save money on inusrance and other programs, and how to sign up to win cruises. They operator said that I had been called because I had filled out an online survey and given my phone number to they company. The machine also said that the number that dialed me is owned by one of the many companys that use that automated service...Basically warning you that you hve noone to talk to. I pressed "1" to be removed from the calling list, but it said that it might take up to ten days to remove me.  I think Tmobile and other phone companys are selling our numbers. I never filled any survey out online.

Called and said my car warranty expired and I can renew through them. The problem is that I am on the DNC list and when I asked them what car they could not answer. They hung up. Obviously a SCAM. Call from 1-786-369-7342.

Get a call every night and when I answer it, the recording says my "car warranty is about to expire and this is my last notice. Press 2 to stop receiving calls or press 1 to speak to an operator." Pressing 2 does not help as the calls continue. I pressed 1 tonight and they wanted to know the make and model of my vehicle. I told her since they were calling me, they should know that information. When I told her I was on the state as well as national do not call list, she hung up.

Numerous logs of calls from this ID over the past week at my work number at night after I have already left work.

Got a call today at 1:38 PM and answered.  Same scenario as other have reported offering to extend my vehicle warranty that is about to expire and that this is the last attempt.  I picked the option to speak to someone.  They nice sounding lady thanked me for wanting to extend my vehicle warranty and asked for my make and model to which I replied "what vehicle are you calling about".  To this, I got a couple of touch tones in my ear and then a hang-up.

they told me 1 of my car warranties were going to run out,  they asked me for the year/make/model. i asked them to tell me what car they were calling about and that is when they hung up. i called the number back and got nothing but very bad static on the line, pressed 1,2 no change.

this number keeps calling. tired of unwanted telmarketers harrassment. we are also on the do not call list.
