Cough and a hang up....i read recently that the best tactic to use on telemarketers is to keep saying 'yes'(nothing but yes), it makes them REALLY cranky!!

i just got a call from these knob slobbers at 786-369-7342. no message was left but the caller id says warranty alert.

upon answering I heard a cough and then the pre-recorded solicitation for vehicle warranty and that this was my last chance! I hung up.

I got the 'cough' and the click.  I wonder if it is the speed the phone is answered (many numbers dialed and the first answer gets the sales geek and others get the cough) or is it the way I answered "hello? this is 'real name'" then the cough.  Or, is it because they dialed my work number that they can tell by the connection it is not a home number?  Or none of the above and I will get more calls from them in the near future?

I got a call from this number and I am already subscribed to the DO NOT CALL LIST. The name that appeared on my caller ID was "WARRANTY ALERT". Please do not call me!!!

Called tonight and once I answered, they hung up. Same number as all the other people here.

4-9-09 Called our home phone tonight 7:00pm & A male voice coughed 1st
said that our auto warrenty had expired. I question on which vehical & he asked what cars we owned. We argued & after a very uncofortable 3 to 4 minutes I cursed at him & hung up.

Missed the call and when i call back there is nothing..

They called, I answered. They coughed, then hung up. Weird!

I am getting call from this number for the last two days.First time no one speak on other end. second time just coughing and hung up.

"786-369-7342 -warranty alert" and "617-292-7701 and telefund, inc" both called, I picked up ( wasnt sure if my boyfriend  ordered something) and they coughed and hung up. I called back got a long recording and hung up on them... They keep calling, I havent answered after I saw this site.  They need to be stopped!!

Got called from them today. Didn't answer since I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

Telemarketers are scum.

I got a hang up call from this number 5 times in 3 days. I just got this phone number.

I found their phone bank. :) It's from a reseller of Paetec out of West Palm Beach Florida. Google "Paetec 786-369-7342". http://www.paetec.com/voice/voip_overview.html. Or call them and harass them too I do every time I get a call now 877.340.2555! They are resellers for telemarketers outside the United States.  This post is correct, I called and Paetec admitted it was their number on thier network and there was nothing they can or will do about the calls. they gave me aN internal lawyer number 877-999-7705. I filed a complaint with the do not call with paetec's name and number.
