I am not 100% sure, but I think it is legit. I had a message on my cell saying there was an irregularity on my account (which was correct because I made a kind of a big transaction), then a text message from Chase stating the same, and finally I called the number on the back of my card and they had a legitimate concern about the transaction I had made. Just so you know, when I have a message from any of my banks I always call the number on the back of my cards!

I don't know whether this is fraud or not. Either way, I can no longer trust Chase. If it's a fraud, this number was reported since 2010, Chase fraud team did not do their job. If it's from Chase. I called in and talked to 1 customer service and 3 fraud departments, they have no idea about this phone number but cannot say that it's not their phone number. Not listed on their web site either (at least when I search google)

This is chase call. I hung this one and called back to chase. they connected me to the protection dep. I checked with them on the number.

They will call you from this number (it's an automated system) and ask you "if this Jane Doe, press one for yes and two for no". And you never talk to an actual human! They tried to withdraw $1800 from my account and when they couldn't they called me. Of course I knew it was a scam but be careful guys! Also look out for this number too, it's also a scam 866-215-1499

Also got a call. Called chase bank. no idea called Chase 800 direct. No idea what the message was about but did not make a report or anything.  Agent just assumed it was a mistake.

Seems legit?  I made a billpay online and got a text from 678-208-7792 stating the amount I just paid.  It wanted me to text back 1 to confirm and 2 to deny.  And to Call 800-366-1962 if it was not me.  Seems legit unless my computer was hacked.  No personal info was asked in the text.
