This number has called us repeatedly, sometimes around 10 times a day, for the past several months. We have told them that we cannot contribute to their organization due to current economic restraints...but they can't take a hint.

4th call and 4th request to remove from call list..... she was annoyed that I told her I would only give to The Cancer Society when I wanted to give and that I gave to that charity because they didn't call an annoy me.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I get this phone number on my caller-id. I just don't even bother to answer.  I couldn't figure out who it could be, so that's when I decided to just put the phone number on the internet.  Now I can see that it's not just me.  If I had time to annoy them throughout the day like they annoy me, I would.  However I don't have that kind of time to be a hemorrhoid to anyone.

Phone rang at 8:45 a.m.  Picked up after 4 rings, got dead air.

call on 10/1/08 at 1:26 pm.  toll free call on caller id.  rang 3 times; no message.  i do NOT ever answer unidentified calls (or identified even if it said cancer whatever in this case).  am on do not call list.  why oh why?  & HOW do we get this stuff to stop?  will keep record of call and file complaints online.

Did anyone register with the National Do Not Call Registry? I did and just entered a complaint against this phony phone#.I think it takes 31 days after registration before the accept complaints so register today and get it started.

Call came from Cancer Fund of America, looking for donations.

They have called me four out of the last seven days (the three days I was gone they did not call) VERY frustrating because I have two children under the age of two. The first time they called was in mid diaper change, second time  as I had just gotten the kids picked up to rush out of the house put it all down and answered. Third time woke them up from their naps and today woke all of us up this morning after a BAD night with a five week old unable to breath because of a cold and I had finally gotten him to sleep. I call back and have left several messages to take me off of their calling list yet they still call. I tried to block them with att but they said it's an invaild number. I AM LIVID

Just got a call, came up as CANCER FUND.  I did my usual trick of simply saying hello until someone comes on the line and then muted them till they hang up.  This way they are likely to put a fault next to my number and not try again.  Just for good measure I blocked calls from this number with my Call Screening feature also.

Since they are a non-profit, they are exempt from the national do not call rules.

When I get calls like this, I never answer.  Instead, I do a internet search on the number. Usually turns out ot be someone wanting money or a credit card company.  I keep a mental note of the number and if they call again, I answer the phone to stop the ringing and hang up.  Seems to stop the calls.

I haven't experienced such an intense and annoying method of asking  contributions for a non-profit organization. I made the mistake of pledging $10, and unfortunately the envelope got lost and I thought that they would just send another one. Now I get 4-8 phone calls a day from this aggressive woman, demanding that I should write a piece of paper with the pledge number and the check because "You made a commitment"... of $10!!!!

Well I too am being pestered by these parasites. I finally answered to try to get them to stop and some brain dead agent on the other end asked for someone who does not live here. When I responded " what? " she hung up.  How do I get these scum to desist.

This call came in this morning and I work graveyard shift some days. When I answered it the voice said: "(giggle!) YOU BETTER GET ON THE ROAD" and then hung up. Later when I went to call this number back I found it was a so-called fund raising for cancer research. After an incredibly long canned message about my presumed donation I left a message and told them I would never give money to them if this was the kind of personnel that they hire. If they are legitimate they need to realize this is not the way to obtain donations. If they are just another fund raising group that puts most of the donations into their "administrative costs" or some grossly overpaid researcher who is just milking the public for their own gain (and I know many of them exist) I think they need to be removed from business.

If, and I say if, I was a nasty person, I would take out an ad in several Middle Eastern newspapers, list the name and address of the group that continues to harass me because the law allows them to, and I would tell the world that those calling me were a unit of a certain country's intelligence service.   Conceivably this tactic might work against bill collectors who moved out of the US to a nearby country so that they weren't bound by US law anymore.

Could this be the latest scam from RAN DAVID BARNEA of Boca Raton Florida?

I have gottten two calls from them today. The last couple of days they have been calling at 8:30 in the morning. It is always comes up as unprovided on my caller i.d. I can't stop them so I just have a little fun with them. One thing I do is push the talk button, say hello and when they start talking I let them talk to the air. Another thing I'll do is come up with an alias. Anything to throw them off. It is hard to know if they will stop calling but it is fun just the same.

Unfortunately, the do not call list does not apply to these annoying parasites! Nor does it apply if you have a business relationship with them.

Annoying call. I am on central standard time between 7-8pm.

If there raising money, they will never get it from me...how annoying...
