I received a call from 800.390.4812 this am and told the person I was not interested as my wife is going through cancer treatment as we speak. The lady said you mean you do not want to receive a package so that you can go out and collect pledges? I said no thank you and hang-up the phone.

I asked them to my name off the list because it has become a a hardship now but they keep calling

Calls all day long and continies to call even after being told I couldn't help!

I keep getting calls from this number & they  hang up... VERY ANNOYING.  Called the # back and it says "cancer support services".  I think it's total BS and have reported them. Will continue to do so until they stop.

If they really are trying to help people with cancer they need to find a more legitimate way to do it.  They're shady and probably aren't helping anyone.

i picked up the phone after 2 rings (btw, nothing showed up on my caller ID) and no one was there.  in a minute or so, i hit the Caller ID button and it said "not available at this time."  what the heck!!!  after another minute, it showed the above #.  something's up to NO GOOD here!!!!!!

they calledand said they wanted a donation. I told them I was on disability, she said they would take any amount. I told her I would take any amount they would send me and shesaid have a good day, bye.

They called my 81 year old Grandmother this evening at 8:53 p.m. Luckily I was there and I answered the phone. The lady said she was from some cancer company that gives low cost pain meds and supplies to cancer patients. She requested to speak with my Grandma since she has cancer and would be a great deal for her. I informed the lady that my Grandma's cancer is in remission and she no longer takes any chemo or meds for it. The lady got pretty snippy and said "Shane we know that someone in your household has cancer!". I said " As I just told you it is in remission". She said they were not aware of that and they can send out a card for us to give a one time donation of money to help other cancer patients. I told her that we really couldn't afford it right now. She persisted and babbled on about how much it would help other people and even just $10 would help. At that point I hung up on the lady.


I would really like to know how they got my Grandma's medical records to know she had cancer? Perhaps I will place a call to the doctor's office tomorrow and see just how her personal medical file got into these vultures hands. Will post back if I get anywhere with that.

They are not affiliated with any specific cancer group.
Tell them to add your number to 'their' restricted (Do Not Call) list.
Then file a complaint at this website:

Ask for the person's name who is calling.
You may also record the conversation as long as you advise them.

This company is calling as a debt collector.  They are calling my number eroneously.  I've told them to remove me from their call list, however, the calls continue.  Often, they hang up when I answer.  I tried to reach a supervisor to get the problem corrected, however, that doesn't work either.  When they say they're transfering me to a supervisor the call automatically goes to a voice mail with noone manning the phone.  When I called the rep back, she told me this is standard operating procedure for their company.  No one answers when you're transfrerred to a supervisor.  These guys are jerks!

Crooks!!! I do not know them. I DONATED TO AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY ... THE REAL ONE!! And these crooks got my number. Fakes, phonies and thieves!!!!! GO TO JAIL.

We've asked them not to call several times.  Yesterday evening - my wife got a call and told them she has requested them not to call anymore.  They called about 30 minutes later and my wife handed me the phone.  I also requested in the nicest tone I could manage to be taken off their calling list.  They were rude, but said ok.  I have big doubts.

I answered and she hung up when I told her my husband wasn't here.

These people are relentless - I must get 6 to 10 calls a day.  Give to this organization 1 time and you can never get them to stop calling.  I have given because of myself and my friends who are either survivors or have passed away due to cancer but this is ridiculous.

The Cancer Fund - We receive at least 3 or 4 (if not more) calls per day.  After finally answering, the woman I spoke with was very rude and denied calling many times.  I asked her to leave a message on VM if she wanted a call back instead of continuing to call - she said she could not leave messages.  I asked for them not to call my number again, yet the calls continue.  Disgusting way of doing business and ripping people off.
