FIrst call from them, about 9:50am.  Thanks to these posts i didn't answer.  Hope its the last.

This number is constantly calling me. I am on the government do not call list.

Yep! Every morning around 9:30 a.m. Should be a law against it!

It is very annoying for we seniors to run to the phone only to have a hang up call from 800-390-4812!!!  Who is this???

I have been recieving a call for weeks now from 800-390-4812 Cancer Fund, and I am on the DNC list.

I reported this last week and am still recieving phone calls.

This is not exceptable.  They need to stop.

Call them back and leave a long message on their answering machine. If everyone would do this we could fill up their machine. Remember payback is hell.

They called and aggressively asked for a donation from my elderly mother. She thought that they were the American Cancer Society. She was deceived into giving a donation.  This so called Cancer Support said that all she had to do was to give them her checking account routing number and a check number.  They would take care of the donation.  We had to call the bank and close this account.  How deceitful this company is.  How shameful.....  Please call and report this shameful and dishonest company. When you call their number, you cannot even talk to anyone.

i get these calls frequently and no one is there.  It comes up on caller ID as 1-800-390-4812 but i do not know who/what it is.

Caller ID reads: CANCER FUND ::: Lady on phone plays pity card, something about cancer-stricken children and tumored grandmothers." Solicitee is asked to donate at least $25 to purchase an honorary "cancer brick" in some foundation's cancer hall of fame floor. Sounds like a royal scheme to me!

Call and either hang up or leave no messages.  Had enough.  Comes up on Caller ID  1-800-390-4812  5/5  at 3:30 pm.  Am on Do Not Call registry.  Also called before and after the legal times someone can call you.  Am notifying the BBB FCC and authorities.

The owner(s) and operator(s) of this predictive dialing system should be hunted down like telemarketers and publicly executed in the cruelest way imaginable. A reasonable person  may suggest something like dousing the owner(s) and operator(s) of 1-800-390-4812 with gasoline to be set ablaze and sent scurrying before high definition cameras, live on cable pay per view. Also, one lucky person should be chosen by lottery to be given the honor of kicking and or poking said burning telemarketers.
The proceeds of this event should go to Cancer research.

800-390-4812 telephone called my telephone number on Sunday, May 13, 2010, at 1:11PM, the female voice requested that I send $25.00 to a place where children are in need. My reply: I need someone to send me $25.00. Therefore, I hung up.

I just got a call from this number, asking for me, I told them I wasn't home.  They said they would call back later to thank me.  When I asked who was calling, they hung up.  I know I have been having problems with a company called Heartland Inc., which is a company that likes to screw people out of money for 'magazine subscriptions'.  I have turned them in to the BBB in Iowa, where they are located.  I have even hired a lawyer which is taking care of that. HOPEFULLY!!!!  
They keep calling me and asking for me and my husband just hangs up on them after they ask for me.

I am so tired of getting calls, that last night I got this so called Toll Free number, they asked for me, and I told them that no one by that name lived here.  They apologized and hung up.  
There has to be some way to STOP they annoying calls.

42 calls in a month beginning as early as 8:30 am. I never answer thanks to caller ID. This type of harassment is giving cancer foundations a bad name. Here is an idea: record a message for all callers that you NEVER answer if you don't recognize the name or number. Apologize to friends and tell them you WILL call them back.
