- Kathy replies to KorimouThis is a call from the Cancer Society wanting donations. They called me before 9 am in the morning and I told them I was going to report them for calling too early. Very annoying people. They hung up and haven't called back.
- RJPWThey called I answered asked for me I said they were unavailable. They hung up. Called the number back (1-800-390-4812) SAID THE NUMBER HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED.
- They're at it againCID reads Cancer Fund...did not answer the call
- Caller: Cancer Fund

- Donna LynnCaller is now claiming to represent Hospice. Very bold and ignore requests to quit calling.

- John McCormickMy suggestion is when they call, pick up and set the phone down. Its an automated call, designed to see at what time someone is home. No one is actually on the phone. But keeping the phone line open, prevents the automator from calling another phone, or slows down their progress. If everyone does this, it will grind their operations to a halt. And they deserve it, since they are using the rubric of fighting cancer to collect money, even though they keep the vast majority of the money for themselves, having machines do much of the job for them. The [***]. Let them go to hell. If you want to donate to a good charity, Sloan Kettering or St. Judes are excellent choices. Look into it.
- Margie replies to CaroOh my. Of course you know by law they're a charity, so you can't "stop" them, BUT. .... If they are truly calling that much, you can report this abuse. No company is allowed to call more than a very few times each 24 hour period. Can't remember, but maybe only twice a day or something. Report them!!!
- JPI called nr back and it was listed as a disconect. Sounded like a fraud.
- Caller: cancer support center
- LaureThey keep calling, then hang up when our voicemail picks up. We tried to call them back to ask that they take our number off their lists, but the number is "no longer in service!" We're reported them to the DNC twice already. Next time they call, we'll also file a complaint with the FCC.
- Caller: Caller ID: "Unavailable"
- KrakooThis is a phony organization -- takes money -- no benefits.
- Caller: Breast Cancer
- SalsamakerThey have called my house at least twice a day for the past 5 days. Husband answered today and told them he would donate 15 bucks! Let them try to collect a dime from me! Not happening! We are on DNC list also but they are probably considered a "charity" so are allowed to call. But they do not have the right to harass! So will file a claim with BBB if they continue. And of course you cannot call them back and tell them to stop because the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Yeah, right! How convenient it comes back online to call ME! Don't bother answering the call.

- DannyBoyRe 1-800-390-4812. Looked up Cancer Support Services in Charities Navigator. There were pages of complaints. Based on their telephone antics and their "charity" performance, they are a scam. Submit your complaints to your state attorney generals.
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Renee LevowThis number continues to call me, month after month, after month for the past year. I don't know who they are or how they seem to know me. But, I want it to stop now. I found out via the Internet, that they claimed to a cancer charity foundation of sorts.

- SidneyWant to stop calls like this? Subscribe to a VoIP phone service with "blacklisting" capabilities. Local phone service providers do not offer this capability. Just enter the number into the VoIP user interface as "blacklisted" and they will never call you again. You can even block 000-000-0000. I just blocked 800-390-4812.
Not only will you block unwanted numbers, but you will reduce your monthly phone bill. You can keep your existing phone number and sound quality is excellent. You need a broadband connection. I'm not endorsing any specific provider. Just do a Google search. Call the various providers and make sure that their user interface offers "blacklisting". - BgeeCall me multiple times a day asking for donations and send me letters. Pure harassment

- BarbThey identified themselves as Cancer Support Services. We gave to them a few years ago, but last year I searched them, and found they give very little money, if any, to cancer patients, so I turned down their request, and told them why. Last night they called and wanted to talk to my husband (probably on their records that he agreed to send them money a few years ago, but I turned them down last year). Said he wasn't available, so the lady proceeded to practically beg me to send money. I said not at this time, so she said they were in desparate need of donations for they were running low on medical items that cancer patients need. So I told her again that I had done some research on their company, and they had very negative reviews. She asked if I was searching the right company, and was challenging ME on how I chose my charities. Ugh. Goodbye.
