I have 2 $19.95 charges on my cc.  One is from WC *VALUE PLUS-V 800/475-1942 MN.
The other is WC *VACATIONPASSPORT-V 877/349-4840 MN.
We have no idea what these are but the 800 number told us their bus. hours and to go to programstop.com

I had $16.95 charged to my card and don't know why.I was told they would not charge after this month but what about June?

This is the 2nd or 3rd month with this charge on my credit card of $19.95 for WC *VALUE PLUS-V 800-475-1942 and for WC *VALUE PLUS-V 800-475-1942 MN I would like to dispute these charges as i think it is a scam.  please advise me of what to do

This was charged to my account twice without permission who are these people?

I purchased some christian cd's from TimeLife via a TV commericial.  I paid for them via my credit card.  This month on my bank statement there is a charge of $19.95 on it. Company is called WC*VALUE PLUS-V. Called number 800-475-1942 and twice customer service answered but couldn't hear me so they hung up. Found this site on my computer and got another number. I called Timelife and found out that they "sometimes" give customer info to other companies!!!!  Called other number for Value Plus  *888-833-7279 and told them I better have my money back since it was illegal what they did or they are going to hear from the Attorney General of NY.  They promised to have it back in 3 t 5 banking days??? Yeah right.  I, also, went to my bank and told them the story and gave a copy of my statement to the bank so next month better not have any charges pass thru my account.  Today I am contacting the Attorney General just to be sure there will be some follow-up.  Timelife did not have any right to give my banking data to any company as far as I'm concerned.  They also should be held responsible.  Hope all you out there will do the same as me.  Good luck   june

I also have been scammed by the same company as all your writers have.  I just wrote to my governor and senator from NY State.  Don't sit back and be victims.  GET MAD AND do something about it.  You have a computer and can contact the Attorney General, your Governor or State Senator.  Get them to work for you and stop this maddening situation.   NOW

I called and asked them the first time to refund my credit card 16.95, they only turned around and charged it again the same amt. I am cancelling my card today.

Every time I make a phone transaction with my debit card, someone calls back reciting the last 4 digits of my debit card. the number they are calling from is 18004751942.  there was a fraudulent charge(though I refused) to my debit card.  I tracked down the name ValuePlus-v or whatever similiar name is I searched its affiliation on the internet and found my bank. Bank of America is connected with this illegal financial institution.  Their giving my information to this institution. A.W.

Value Plus is our personal financial institution that is defrauding us the even are affiliated with some of the file a report ripp off gag. This is my opinion.

We have not gotten a call from this company but they are taking money out of our checking account! I don't know who to call first- them or the bank, and if I will even get anywhere.

Hello fellow scam victims. I too have fallen under this unfortunate charge for WC *VALUE PLUS-V 800-475-1942. How do you get them to stop. I have called today after 6 seperate charges totaling over $100 have been charged to my credit card. The 800 number says they are a membership company. HUH? I told the woman I spoke to that I don't have any mmeberships. She wanted the spelling of my last name before she would even tell me who they were and what they do. I am furious!
I gave her my email address(I know, stupid) as a last effort to get some kind of proof of a cancellation but from what I am reading here, my attempt will not prevail.
Very discouraged. Suposedly in 7 to 10 days I should receive a letter confirming "my cancellation" and I am to fill out and return this paper for a total refund. We'll see. Hope to come back her soon and find someone has got through to these people. Good luck to all. I know what you're going through. Try to have a good day.

i also had 6 charges to my account at $19.95 each and one for $1.00 totalling $120.70. i contacted pnc twice and both times they told me to get in touch with value plus at that 800 number. i just contacted visa a second ago and told them whats goin on. hopefully i dont get the same run around as everyone else. visa does have zero liability so hopefully they give me back my money. they have to know about this company by now.

Yeah, no call but i just looked at my CC Statement and BOOM 16.95 right on there. I called my credit card company to report it. They froze my account but didnt mention anything about crediting my account. I better get my money back. This is so stupid!

I recently discovered that these same people have been taking money out of my account for the past three months.  I have no idea how they got my debit card information because I don't do purchases online with my debit card.  Then I realized that I did make a purchase for our Cricket phones.  Since that is the ONLY time I've used my debit card online, it has to have something to do with that purchase.  I don't know if Cricket had something to do with them getting my info or if they somehow tapped into my computer and retrieved my info from that one transaction.  I called the number to dispute the charges and got a recording about going to their website: www.programsstop.com or www.programs..com but all I found were links to other websites.  I would really like to know who these people are and how they got my info.  I realize $16.95 a month for three months isn't a whole lot of money but like most people I work hard for my money and I am always careful about giving out info on line because you never know who may be tapped into your computer. I've read some of the other posting on this situation and now I'm even more disturbed about it.  My bank said they will help me dispute these charges and put a block on my account so no more charges will come out but my big question is...who are they and HOW did they get my bank info.

It is still going ,All the banks have special people working on fraud,  it is all over the intranet. Banks should block withdraws from this company.... period. For seven months, they have been scamming people, me who it is my own fault taht I do not pay closer attention, but what about people taht have afixed income or are elderly. I wish this would get into the right hands and someone that could arrest them but I think banks could end it by cutting off the funds to these three companies.

I  recieved my bank statement today 7/23/08 ,an on there i have this WC EXPLORE USA MBR,16.95 was taken out .I as well have no idea who these cretins are (smart ) give them that .Believe me I'll be on the phone to my bank first thing when the bank opens Am, not only that ,i have caller ID an don't answer the phone unless i know the caller!!!!

on my card is a cashpay and it hard to find out who these crooks are i am
on a fixed income and this keep coming out of my card for 2 months and i am not happy why can someone stop these bandits.  I am not trying to get charge for something i didnt order. who is the company anyway and what do they sell?

yeah this is bull [***] i have been billed $1.00 then $19.95 and a month later another $19.95 and they call me at least 5 times a day it's  the same lady and i tell her to quit calling i just finally put the two together i know i would like to find out how they received my information and find out how to get them back for all the money they have taken from so many people i'm going to talk to a lawyer on monday and will repost once i find out what i can do legally with this company

I have never been called. I called the 800 # which appeared on the debit, also getting the recording for a bogus website - www.programswap.com

i too got a charge from this company for 19.95 and i have no idea what this is all about
