- Patricia HopkinsThe amount of $19.97 has been deducted from my checking account for 3 nonths. I called the phone # listed above. . She said i would receive a form to fill out for a full refund. It has been over 2 weeks." WHERE IS MY REFUND FORM'"? This is a scam. someone out there is mopping up. how can we stop them? No i have never ordered pedi-paws.
- Ryan| 1 replyRe: Mickey - 18 Jan 2009
You are exactly correct. This "Provell Inc." or who ever the parent company is, has bought their way in with many of these as seen on TV products, from pedipaws, apparently from posts, to my purchase of The Dog Father dog training system I ordered online, who I now understand is under Thane.com. Then 1 month later started getting charged from PRO*ESS FOR HOME MTHLY 800-475-1942 MN. ( www.essentialsforhome.com apparently) I have seen them try to do it with many different online orders and they tried to get me on a phone order after asking for Jeff Pauls internet millions or some program that I regret now. Also with a Natural Cures order. They start spouting off all of these additional offers hoping you will say yes to 1 or more, and then they have got ya.
Moral of the story: Buyer Beware if you are watching info-mercials. You may wind up with more than you thought you ordered.
Wether it is from an order online that you didn't realize a box was by default checked to accept a 30 day free trial offer, or over the phone order for something you wanted and said yes to the rep. because you were tired of all the additional "offers". They already have your credit card number so if you say yes or don't uncheck that box or whatever, you agreed to be charged that if you dont cancel within the 30 days.
I would agree with many that would like to start a Class Action Law Suit.
I think haveing to click a small hyperlink to see terms and conditions of something you are agreeing to purchase is not clear disclosure.
They do not send you any materials in the mail about what you purchased, otherwise you would realize the mistake and fix it. They just say in the T&C's that you must log in to the site to start using the service and request they send you any such materials. VERY FRUSTRATING that they consistently get away with this, praying that you wont notice the charge and call in. That is why on their recording, the website they give you, programstop.com, only gives you a form to cancel. They don't even assume that you want to keep the service. They dont want to talk to you, they know why you are calling. Hopefully you will just fill out the form and they just took you for the last 3,4,5 months of charges that you didnt notice it on your credit card statement till now.- Caller: essentials for home
- RyanStill wanting more information?
Check out http://www.provell.com/
My favorite area is where they talk about how they alway disclose all offer terms, under "How You Benefit" page 2.
and how they offer a "no save" and "no questions asked" cancelation and refund policy.
Also under "Our Programs" where it shows all of these companys they are working for, to get your memberships.
Do a little browsing, a lot of info in there about what they are doing.
I found talk of the company being associated with Damark International in forums and is proven in the "about us" section, apparently they have been doing this kind of thing for quite some time.
OVER 20 Years !
If you want to throw in the cards now though, dont look at their site. It is just that much more frustrating. - sherondaI have been charged 19.95 twice in one day for the past several months.I called my card and they gave this 1-800-475-194 number and all that did was give me this bogous website. i dont know how these people got my info but im tired off this [***] that keep going on. I cancelled my card and got a new one. Hopefully this will stop them from taking my money. I will no longer use my cc online for any purchases or over the phone. looks like thats how they are getting this info. it dont looks like i will be getting my money back either. but i will continue fighting this.
- CNSI just called them and was hung up on the first time. When I called back, I was told some guys name was on the account. When I told them I dont know this person they asked for my last name again. Somehow they have my addres and account information. They claim that I bought something online, some membership but she couldnt tell me what its for. I asked to cancel this memembership and refunded the 16.95. We'll see what happens. Watch out for this scam $16.95 monthly debit charge for WC Value Plus 800-475-1942. I cant believe I didnt catch this earlier.

- Minh Nguyenthey charged me 19.95$ each months since November, but i did not know anything about that. I thought it was my gasoline bill since it's the same as it. I hope the bank will refund the money for me.
- ritaI have just cjecked my account online and there are two charges for 19.95 from the above mentioned, whom i have never heard of or contacted. My bank, Bank of America, told me they would help me with the query, but can anyone else offer any suggestions?
- MarshaHi, I just found out that when I placed an order for KEVIN TRUDEAU'S book
"DEBT CURES'(Ha! what an irony!) that i was automatically signed up for this bogus company. It took me forever to even get them to give me a hint as to where they got my credit card number..they told me that was confidential. That's rich. They get my credit card number and can not tell me where they got it. Finally someone told me an approximate date of an order I had placed online and that I had gotten a $10 discount for the order and that meant that I had agreed to sign up with this company. Not true. The book is advertised for $19.95 + shipping/handling. There is a big red button to click on to order..I clicked on that button and ordered the book. After 15 minutes of being harassed into trying to buy all this other stuff which I declined, the book was purchased. After being billed for 4 months (I only caught it last month as I thought it was a place I purchased gas) I called and was given a very hard time. I got a cancellation number for something I never signed up for and was told that I would be receiving a reimbursement form to fill out for a refund. Guess what..After 3 weeks I still have not received the form.Going back to the website I see that below the red button where you are instructed to click to "buy now" there is a bunch of crap about signing on for some coupon value something for $14.95. Not the $19.95 I have been paying for absolutely no service whatsoever. It is a clever marketing trick. Click here and pay without having a clue there is a big scheme below you. Seems Kevin Trudeau is as shady as the banks he rags about. So, If you are wondering where it is coming from..look at what you purchased online right before the charges started and go from there. - KendraI got plenty of phone calls at all times of the day and night. I never signed up for this...whatever it is and I've been charged 4 times! I called the 800 number and got a rep who claimed he would send a "refund slip". I got ripped off around $68!!!

I want to uerge you to send a email to everyone in your contact list. This is the only way you can can nail them. The company names are Value Plus and Vacation Plus. - TRISH BROWNi WANT THE CHARGES TO MYY DEBIT CARD STOPPED! I ordered abody slimmer and now i am being charged for magazines i have sent a cancellation notice on. I will be reporting this to each magazine company that rmgmagreward is scamming people and giveing there magazines a bad rep.
- Stacey ClarkeI have noticed this on my bank for a couple of months and thought it was a protection plan. when I started to look into it to cancel it I couldn't find anything but this site and I am so P&*&&$# off that this happened. I live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford for this to happen. I have submitted a dispute and will try to call them on Monday but I am sure I will get the same response as you guy.
- LauraFor the past 2 months I have been charged with $16.95 and I don't know what company this is. What do I need to do to so I can get my money back and have this company stop charging my credit card.

- LisaI did call the 800 number and they said I signed up for some discounts and coupons... I said NO I DID NOT..... she goes okay what do you want from us, i said i want a refund... she said okay, give the bank 2-3 business days for the transaction...... so i'll wait and see, I had already notified my bank, and he said that they have been having a lot of calls with this...... if it posts as a refund I will then be closing that card and getting a new one, just in case... if they have the information, anyone can have the information.
- TheresaI rec'd a call early last year and signed up to receive nothing in the mail so I called to cancel after MANY daily calls because their system was always down. They did finally cancel my membership before the trial ended but I had to keep calling to them! Since then I continue to receive calls from them every so many months and I tell them No Thank You and hang up. Today I received another call and they changed their method with me by going on and on and then when I started to talk they hung up on me! Now I'm assuming because I was breathing they might have signed me up before I could tell them No thank you. Since I'm not sure if they signed me up again I called the 800# I had from last year I don't have caller ID and the person said their computers are down and their supervisor couldn't talk to me. I'm going to call my credit card company to make sure they don't bill me and will continue to call the 800# until they can tell me I'm not signed up. What can all these people affected by them do to stop them? For now on if they call me I won't even wait to say no thank you and will just hang up.
