Got the same notification yesterday. Figured it was a scam... SHREADED IT..Troy

This is a SCAM, like everything that sounds too good to be true.  I got the Carnival one, where they are offering me two free cruise tickets plus two round-trip tickets.  These sort of shysters move around, change names, and basically steal people's money by promising free things, and then tacking on huge fees.  When you look for them, they've moved to another state and assumed a new name.  This one has phone number 877-504-9618 and postage permit #3950.  Too bad the USPS inspectors won't bother to stop servicing these criminals.

We received the exact same "Fly a US Airline" flyer, except now the number is 1-888-838-5119.  Hopefully someone googling this number will see this website.

Got the birthday one (10 months late :-) ) with a # of 866 396 3279 in mail today. I'm in AL

Ha, got one today!  Yes, they are celebrating another year of Scams.  Mine said I MUST CALL WITHIN 72 HOURS to get scammed!  Thought it was funny, save a tree on this junkmail...  1-877-491-5127 and same permit code.....

US AIRLINES SCAM.It is a scam!!!! I called 3 times and asked the funniest questions over and over and they where so annoyed that they kept haning up the phone. Sometimes it helps to act like your completely stupid when you call these Scam profects. Oh one smart move........if you call them do it over a messenger account like this no one can trace a number....lmao

They are still at this ... mailer today that looks totally official, but almost TOO official to be real.  Says US Airlines, Fly the US Skies, but there is no such US Airlines.  NO company can be listed anywhere and it says this is the last attempt and they have tried to notify me several times, but I know that isn't true because I have recd. no emails, calls or previous mailers, and you would think a legit contest would have a company name and send you an email if you used an email to enter the contest.

Called the # out of curiosity to see if I could get the name of the company before being transferred to someone ... just a recording of a British woman's voice saying I have reached the Prize Awards Dept. or something like that and I will be transferred, and that is when I hung up and came here to post.

Tells you to call 866-348-0834.  Postage was out of Oklahoma.

This is a SCAM, too good to be true as others have posted - shred immediately and don't be fooled!

Not anytime near my Birthday, either, but I do enter a lot of contests, so obviously a spammer sold my info. to this scammer.

Very similiar Birthday greeting and travel offer with Thrifty rental.I called the number after seeing this site to see how much info they might give. Rang many times, no answer. The number was different. 1-855-310-6450.

Got mine today!! 1-866-396-3279 I not only get the free airline tickets, but I get a 7 day car rental. I can't wait to... throw this crap away!

Sure it sounds too good to be true and for most it's an item to shred.  BUT, I would like to know if anyone has actually attended the sales pitch, not bought what their selling, and still received the free offer of travel, gift card, etc.??  I'm willing to give up a couple hours of my time and listen to their sales pitch (I like to watch sales people tactics) as long as they really give me what they say.  Anyone actually attended?  Did you receive or not receive the offer if you didn't purchase the timeshare/vacation/or whatever?

i got a card saying i won the $1400 airline trip on us airlines but the phone # was 1-866-324-9049 from a dorothy wade.

I received a scam from "US Airlines" showing Award Notification (call 1-866-424-3099) and  the check was in amount of $1,400.00.  If I don't respond by 1/9/12 it will be offered to another "victim."  I guess the Public just has to stay alert to scam artists!  What a shame the airlines itself cannot do something about scams in their name.

I received one today, it was a hand written letten addressed to me in blue pen. No return address, stamped letter sized envelope, sealed only in the middle.  How are they getting my address? If they come to my home and do a gypsy scam I have CCW and will smoke them. God blees the 2nd Amendment!!!  These are stupid people who prye on other for their on benifit just like entitlements.

I received a letter today saying, "I am pleased to inform you that you have qualified for an award of 2 roundtrip airline tickets.  Congratulations.  These tickets are valid for travel anywhere in the Continental U.S. from any major international airport.  The retail value of this award is up to $1,400.00  Certain restrictions apply.

We have attempted contacting you several tiems without success.  This is our last attempt.  If we do not hear from you soon, we may need to issue the ticket vouchers to the alternate.  Please call me today at 1-866-822-0329.

Got a letter today from US Airlines offering me two round trip tickets anywhere in the US.
Checked here and will trash letter.
