Caller left a voice message that says, "Please contact Mr. Thomas about a personal business matter."

Gary Burke, needed to speak to a specific person.. Would not tell me what his business was, the reason for calling, or where he was calling from.

He had a stong accent, gave a call back number and his name. This is the only information I received.

If you call the number back.. It's Macy's. You may have payments due of some sort. Since Christmas passed.

Received a letter that looks as though it's from Macy's.  The account number on the letter is different than our actual account number.  Called Macy's from the number on out statement, not this number, and they verified they did not send the letter.  This is a scam, letter or phone call.

This is a scam.  They tell you that it's Macy's you missed a payment and they want you to confirm.  I hope whoever runs this scam dies and burns in hell.

received same call. I have not called and decided to look it up and found this page. I am talking to Macy's as we speak not very cooperative or open to listen. I also received a visa card that I did not request.

the caller said "It is Darren Martin". I demanded to identify the name of company,but refused to do it. I think the number is bogus and scam

got 2 calls from this #. A guy with a strong accent saying it was in regard to an urgent business matter. He left his name Pody Roy. I did not call back.

Man with a heavy accent identified himself although the name was unrecognizable left a message regarding an important business matter and asked to be called back at 1-800-545-1256.  I did not return the call.

They called my parent's house saying it was about a business matter.  They did not leave any additional information.

Repeated requesting my info with wrong records, even my name was wrong. Asking payment from me about $160.

i called the number on the back of my macy's card...we did overlook a payment. I didn't call the 800-545-1256, but I appreciate the reminder. It would help if they can give the name of the company when they leave a message.

The caller said it was Mr. something and to call 800 545 1256.  The number that came into my phone was 513 754 9822.

Called my work number, number shown was 513-754-9822. Left a message, couldn't understand the name, Ms. ??? and to call 800-545-1256.

Mr. Dumas called around 7:30PST, Thursday, March 17, 2008.  Told me my wife has some balance on her Macy's account.  Asked whether I want to settle it right now.  Since my wife isn't present, asked her to call back.  Then I googled the # he left 1-800-545-1256.
