- learntospell replies to Ummm yeahh| 2 repliesHey Moron,
Use your spell check. It is MUNICIPAL...not MUNICIPLE. - The Collection Lady replies to no monies due| 10 repliesAll you people are morons, this place is legit, if they weren't then why would they tell you to send your pymt to the court???? And it does not fall under collection laws its a ticket/warrant therefore its municipal debt NOT consumer debt!!!!
- This chick replies to petmommyThose laws do not apply to municipal debts or tickets. Your dumb and have way too much time on your hands. If you are all so upset with this place then do something. Don't just talk about it online just to blow off steam.
- Retiring| 4 repliesI just received a letter from Warrant Enforcement Division at PO Box 118312 in Carrollton, TX which demanded that if I "do not respond now, every effort will be made to enforce these warrants and have you arrested." The letter stated that fine and court costs from the City of Sallisaw of $200.00 is due. I haven't lived in Sallisaw for about 15 years.
The return address on the letter is 11063 S Memorial Dr 460, Tulsa, OK 74133-7347. For that address in Tulsa the 460 is BOGUS.
TOO MANY CROOKS IN THIS WORLD. - candyt| 1 replyI got one today and when I seen the letter...I knew it was a fraud, but looking the number and address up online, confirmed that for me.

I looked up the address no results found, same with the phone number. what really got me was the mail to address City of Louisville,(which is in Mississippi) po box 118312 Carollton, Tx 75011 why would it say send it to texas if the fine is in mississippi!!
- Delores replies to ConfussedMY Boyfriend has received 2 of these letters. His show to be unpaid traffic tickets out of Midwest City Oklahoma....is it possible you received a ticket for no seatbelt or something in Moore and just forgot about it? The phone number doesn't work, we tried it twice.
- RagaA letter like this was sent to my mother in laws house (no clue why never lived there). After contacting the company I got an Ashley on the phone said I had the amount of $70.00 to pay. From what I was informed it was for a derelict vehicle charge back in 2008. Which did happen and I did pay it. Contacted the court house records number for the town it happened in and confirmed it was paid. No balance remaining and no warrant has or is going to issued to me I was informed
From speaking with Ashley she informed me she worked for a company called AMF or AMS, I was unable to understand what she was saying and she was unwilling to spell it phonetically for me.
From what I did find out that the company is a collection agency for various small towns on what tends to be small amounts of money i.e. under 1k.
Like the previous poster Delores this was for a ticket in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
I now need to figure out what this company considers proof to have this [***] stopped.- Caller: 1-800-555-5160

- Cs| 2 repliesRecieved one from them too. Called my legislator he told me that they can only arrest me if they stop me in that city. The thing they can do is charge interest like a collection agency (Bushits idea) Bush really screwed us and let the corporations take over....300 percent interest ....yes they are consumer driven my ass...they are greedy profiteers. I was told I have to talk to the judge for arrangements like I'm going to give myself to them....I have pled not guilty over 9 years ago.....paid tickets since then because I was guilty...but not this one......it is turning into a debtors prison state in Oklahoma....[***] republitards....
- Cs replies to CsWarrent Enforcement Division 11063 S Memorial Dr in Tulsa 18005555160....collection agency anyone know the name of it...corporations are taking over...stop the republicans or it will get worse....there is a law that corporations are people with the same rights as people....now thats [***] up.....
- Cs replies to Csmy ticket was 150 or less and now after 9 years its 450 dollars....bs
- Cs replies to The Collection Lady| 1 replyWhen I was a poorer woman I worked for a collection ageccy that collected traffic tickets. Then they recalled all them cause it was unconstitutional and unethical.....immoral.....calling people names "oh bright one" (sarcasm intended) does not make you a better person, on a higher plane than others, or even a descent bill collector...it does make you seem as though you a personality disorder though....think about it.
- Cw11 replies to Ummm yeahhNo not dumb these people had an accident I was in, in 2008 on file and said I had a warrent for my arrest and 222.23 in unpaid court fines. Well I was never issued a ticket much less went to court. So I called every court house in my area contacted the police and talked to the clerk of court and guess what I have nothing on file what so ever. These people are scammers. They refused to give me any number to call the courthouse with and were really rude as in hanging up on me when I tried telling them I have never been issused a ticket.
- DeputyJust received a call from these folks on my cell phone (didn't answer unknown phone number) then immediately received a call on my land line. They had my name and said it was for a collection for a warrant from a city in Texas. I called the city warrant officer and sure enough they use this company to collect on warrants. The name they had was the same as mine, but it isn't me. After talking with the officer it was discovered that the warrant issued is for someone with my first name, the middle name and birthday are different. This company obviously just goes through the phone book calling everyone with the same name looking for the right person. Don't give them any personal information, call the city they represent instead.

- Whatever replies to The Collection Lady| 2 repliesI have called this place - they ARE a debt collector - they told me that there wasn't a warrant, and wouldn't be. The address they tell you to send payment to is the "City of ...." with their PO Box. Called the city where my "warrant" is, and they said it was send to collections.....So, no, I am not an idiot.

- Dexter replies to The Collection Lady| 1 replyIt remains to be determined if the methods used by this company are illegal or simply unethical. Calling themselves the "Warrant Enforcement Division" seems to fall under the label intimidation and threat. It implies that the person sending the letter has authority to enforce warrants which, at least in the State of Texas, is not true. And seeing that only Law Enforcement can enforce criminal warrants, which what a trafic ticket is, the company is intentionaly trying to create the impression they are a Law Enforcement Agency. This, of course, will be decided first by the Attorney General and if he decides in the affirmative a court of law.
