they are pretending to be citizens bank called me three times at 3am in morning.when you call number back says not in service.

This ass wipe has called me 5 times in the last 6 days...no message...I am not going to answer the call..some body needs to have the number disconnected..Jack ass....

Called my cell phone 5 times over 2 days.  Never left a message.

This number calls me multiple times per day asking for a previous owner of my number, apparently not believing that I don't know who they're talking about. They claim to be from Citizens Bank, but are more likely debt collectors of scammers.

don't talk to them they are trying to confirm whom you are to try to get as much info as possible to steal your money...just hang up telling them they have wrong number..

How do they think they are...They call and call and call...hangs up ... never a message

A real pain so I plugged that number into my cellular, "Add to Reject List".  When "it" calls my cellular phone "it" gets dumped.  I also registered Mr. Dingo's number to the "National Do Not Call List". for future punishment.

these ass)*)* always call late at night and early morning...  never leaving a message....  you look it up and it's a scam... how do you stop this crap...

Bank Survey late at night.

800-671-7916 just called me; I didn't answer and they left no message.  White pages dot com says heavy spam suspected.

I don't believe this number is from Citizens Bank. If my financial institution(s) want(s) to talk to me, they surely would have left a message to call back on a working phone number.

There are reports of recipients calling this number back and getting a message that says the number is out of order.  That's pretty suspicious.

PS: Just block the number from calling you and you won't have to hear anything from this number (800-671-7916) again!

This a valid Citizen Bank Call CTR.  Verified with the bank.  They can call out but you cannot call in. It is a VALID customer service number.

Sounds like a scam to me, called it back and just got recordings, eventually asked for my info.

this is not a scam, its just a courtesy call for survey to see how well citizens help line handled any problems you may have had. you can ask your bank to be taken off the courtesy call list

Had 3 missed calls from this # and no message

We've been receiving calls at least onece or more times a day from this number.  It's the same thing everytime...as soon as the answering machine recording starts, the call disconnects.

I see from others here that this number is thought to be Citizens Bank.  I don't bank w/them but did call the local branch to give them a heads-up.  Also called this number & it says it's citizens Bank RBS & they'd called for feedback on my recent experience w/ Citizens...at that point I disconnected the call rather than waste more time listening to the whole recording.

The local branch thinks this is a scam & so do I.

This number is now blocked in my phone so it will immediately disconnect the next time they try to bother me.

It was a survey about my recent call to Citizens Bank to resolve a credit card issue.  I mentioned that I had just looked up this number online and that some were saying it was a scam.  It was just a survey about service rendered.  No personal information was requested.

I just recently open a Citizens Bank account and have not even received my debit card in the mail yet and getting phone calls suddenly from this number.  I looked up this phone number, because today I received 9 phone calls!!  Started at 8:30 am and it is now 7:30 pm.  I didn't realize that signing up with a bank meant that I was going to be harrassed with phone calls........by seeing 6 pages of these complaints I don't forsee it stopping any time soon!  Very disappointed to say the least.  I have not had any problems like this before - I do not ever get telemarketing calls on my cell phone.  I have been very fortunate up until today I think.

Why can't we get rid of call like this?  Isn't that  the job of the "do not call list is for?
