Called and woke me up.  Left a message re a Sears Citi-Bank card.  Called back and they wanted my account number via a recording.  I do not have an account with Sears. Finally a real person answered and said she would look up my number they had called and asked if someone by name lived here.  I said no, I think someone falsely gave them my number.

    # calls my residence repeatedly when we anwser the phone it is a recoreded msg saying stuff about this is sear/city bank calling about account crap.THIS IS A SCAMER when my mother does what the recording instructs her to she is put on hold. when my mother called the # a colored man anwered the call. my mom asks why are they calling  and the man states that he dose not know why he is calling are residence . he then asks my mother for her sears card account # to look up the reason for the unsolicited phone call (my words not his). she then tells the man that she will not tell him her account #. SO WHAT DOES HE DO THEN? HE ASKS MY MOM FOR THE LAST 4 NUMBERS OF HER SOCIAL  SECURITY #. he is told no im not give you any information. this man was not professional or polite nor could he justifie the phone calls or provide any sense that she was really speaking to a company representative from Sears/City Bank. He just repeated to state he needed an account # or the last 4 of her S.S.# in order to tell her the reason why he had called. my mom immediately hung. NEVER GIVE OUT INFORMATION DURING A UNSOLICITED PHONE CALL. ANY INFORMATION, even your name because they are probing for ways to misuse your credit, your insurance, your income and even your name itself.   THERE IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THIS IS NOT PART OF SEARS OR CITY BANK THIS IS A ATTEMPT TO STEAL PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!
You have been warned. Please use your mind and not your heart to deal with solicitations, people are desperate to make some cash LEAGAL OR NOT!

I received couple of calls from 800-733-1116 with their message to call them back. I decided to call then back. I asked the lady why the kept calling me. She asked me if I had credit card from SEARS. I told her NO. Then she asked about Home Depo. I said NO. Then she said how about Radio Shark. Then I decided to say yes, and what about it. She couldn't tell me why they kept calling me. then she said if I give her my SS# she will take my name off the list. I gave her my SS#. But that did not work. They are still calling me. When I pick the phone now because I know their number, they won't leave a message or say anything while am on the line. I wish somebody will take care of these crooks. Is very upsetting.

16 calls in 2 days!  This company is a FRAUD.  While I do have a Citi Sears Card, I have never been late nor do I owe a balance.  They called and asked ME for MY social security number and checking account information to process payment.  DO NOT BE FOOLED.  These people are liars.  If I had been anyone else, knowing that my bills are ALWAYS paid on time, I would have fallen prey to them.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

This number calls our home all hours of the day and night!!  never leaves a message so it can't be too important.  Very annoying and we are disgusted,   my husband is looking further into legal matters.  We are on the do not call list,  but that is worthless!!   Always comes up on caller ID  as unknown.  If this is legitimate wouldn't they at least leave a message??   Obviously not very professional.

Call the Federal Communications Commission. They WILL check into
these terrible calls, numbers. I had a situation with 2 different numbers,
FCC took care of it, no more calls.   They confirmed with me too.
You have to take the time to look up their number on the internet and call them.
Tell them your issue with the numbers calling you.
They are wonderful and will help.

I get a call from this number every morning at the same time for about a week now.  Didn't answer and let it go to VM.  The message is a recording: "This is an important message from citicard.  If you have been impacted by the storm, we are here to serve you each and every day; but in particular during this challenging time. If you need assistence, please contact 1-800-733-1116... and we will help to work with your individual needs."  ... I don't live in an area that is even anywhere near the east coast...

This number continues to call all hours of the day and night. Its harassment as far as I am concerned. It comes up on caller ID  unknown.  Well, duh how important can it be if they don't have the common courtesy to at least speak like a real person, or leave a message that is not a recorded one.  I am so disgusted, I am thinking of getting rid of our land line.  We are on the Do Not Call List but that is a joke also,  why bother to register if you keep getting these annoying calls.  I am seeking legal advice as to how to put a stop to these ignorant, rude, whoever they are!!

It is Sears Credit services.  Apparently, I was listed as reference and they are calling all names on credit application looking for their debtor.  I asked them to take my number OFF... S/w Christina @10:29 am on Sunday 11/18 at their call center, which she did not identify.

we get calls all hours of the day and night from this number. If it was legit wouldn't they at least ask for a person or leave a message?  Of course not, and I like how on the caller ID  it comes up all the time unknown name. Well, DUH,   they don't want harassed all day and night like they do to us either!!  Morons!  By leaving a complaint on this site,  does it actually stop the calls??

this IS a collections card for a Sears card!  It is Citicard calling and they are collecting on a past due sears bill. It is NOT a scam in any way.  If you owe the bill...pay it.  If you don't, they may have the wrong #

Not a Scam!  You are absolutely incorrect!  This is a collections call on a past due Sears card. If you are current, they may just have the wrong #.  If you are past due...pay your bill!

Do not call list doesn't work because this is isn't telemarketing!  It's collections which is exempt.  The call is regarding a past due Sears bill!  Call the # on the back of your sears card...they will tell you!!!
