Getting calls from 800-733-1116 up to 8 times a day.  Any ideas on how to stop them?

Call on saturday and sunday. When pick up there is no answer. ????

I recently have had and now my family is having an extreme medical emergency and I need the phone lines to hear from them and this number keeps calling.  It is very irritating to say the least.  It is just like they sense when you have just been on the phone.

Just call the number 800-733-1116.  Let them know the number they keep calling and your first & last name.  They will be happily to remove it.  If you changed to a different number, you probably have received a number that is in debt up the ying yang!

They have called me 3 times today, using 2 different numbers. The first time they used 1116 and  left a message saying they were calling regarding my "Sears Consumer Account/Citicard." They ended by saying it was not a sales call. I did not call back, as I have never had a Sears card. The second time they used 1117 and did not leave a message. The third time they used 1116 and did not leave a message.

Yes it's horrible marketing tactics.  I don't know how they get away with this.  I know they are in a huge money laundaring lawsuit and it seves them right.  They use technology to the extreme bad level to search and haunt any descent hard working individual.  Beware of all tactics.

Only way to stop your credit card after telling them you want it closed is to mail it back to them. I would do it certified return reciept

Citibank for Sears credit card. I talked to someone already and I have an email to prove it.  I can't believe they called on New Years Day. They make it so difficult to do anything. Make 1 mistake in, not sure how many years and you can't correct it online. Then, they harass you. Not sure I want to pay the amount I was planning to, now. May just pay the minimum for spite, then again it would just affect me.

This number calls me all hours of the day and night,  even our cell phones and we never give out our cell numbers.  Keeps coming up on the phone unknown name,  well if its so important they need to speak to me,  why can't they first of all speak in English, and or leave a message for us. these morons have nothing better to do!!   Yes we are having financial difficulties,  but its no concern of them to harass people all hours of the day and night!!   I have already spoken to Sears and was told as long as I make some sort of payment, it would be fine.  Apparently not!!   Once we get this bill paid off,  I will never deal with Sears again!!  They have no heart for someone who has lost jobs and all benefits!

This number calls all hours of the day and night.  Never leaves a message and from what I have read on the above comments,  if its Sears calling,  why does it come up on the caller ID  as unknown???  and what does Citibank have to do with it???   Its very annoying,  we are having financial struggles with unemployment,  I have written Sears a personal letter explaining our dilemma and have made small payments as best as I can.  This is very rude and inconsiderate if it is them calling and harassing us.  If I had the money,  I would be paying the bill off.  When I do get this bill paid off,  I will never deal with Sears again.

Several calls per night, no one on the line. No collection needed. If someone needs to talk to us, they can SPEAK to whoever answers the phone, LEAVE A MESSAGE and phone number where we can call them back. No one stays on/comes on the line to leave a message.

I called that number, told them to quit calling me. They said they were taking my number off their list.

Get calls all day from this number, minutes apart...don't know who they are, hangs up when message machine kicks on. How can I stop it !  Do not call registry has not worked.

CitiBank issues the card for sears. thats why its a called a sears master card not just a sears card i have one .

9:49, 1:01, 2:51-received calls from this number- answered the first one, no one there, I was on the other line when the second one came through but they did not leave a voice mail, answered the third one, someone asked for me, I asked who was calling, no one answered, asked again and they hung up. If this is legitimate business this is a poor way to act.

I called this number back, it is for sears. I complained about the hours they call and calling on Sundays. the lady I spoke with said it is an automated caller and there is no way she can go in and change anything, as long as there shows a past due amount they will call and that it is allowed by state law. I will check into this. Calling once is fine but more than that in a day is harrassment

this number calls me 4 times a day.... It's during work hours so I'm not here during the week days but on the weekends it starts at 8am and goes until 9pm. When I pick up it's a recording so I can't even ask them who they are looking for and tell them that they have the wrong number. I refuse to call the number because I'm sure that they are building a list if you call back. What kind of scam is this? I see this number as both Citibank and Sears card but I have never had either of those cards.

Actually what you are doing is still against the No Call Act because when the person picks up the phone it's a recording and not a person so everyone on here can still file a complain and THEY SHOULD! Please file complaints everyone. What they are doing is wrong.
