Incomplete message that says it is in regard to a Sears citibank card I do not have.  If I let it go to message the recording starts in the middle of a sentence asking me to call because they "always like talking to their valued customers".  It never states what the call is about. If I pick up the call there is a click and I get hung up on. Calls several times a day.  When I return the call it asks for last four digits of credit card which I do not have so it goes nowhere.  About ready to change my phone number because of this!

I started getting calls from 1 800 733 1116. I never answer unknown calls. I answered  and they said my name. When i said who's this? They hang up on me. Since then i get 3 to 4 calls per day.  One of the calls registered  from mexico instead of unknown. I autorejected the number.

Got a call and automated voicemail was left on my cell phone asking me to log onto my account at Searscard.com or call them back (Citibank is the lender for Sears).  I've never had a Sears card, so was concerned that someone else had opened an account in my name. I ignored the prompts to enter my account number (since I don't have an account) and just waited until the system sent me to an agent. The agent was very helpful and looked up my phone number and verified that it was not my name on the account (I was not asked for SSN or other information you'd want to keep secure from a scammer). She immediately removed my phone number to avoid future calls and thanked me for alerting them.  If you get a call, probably best to find out why they have your phone number and if someone has opened an account using your information.

It's a legit number for Citibank. Right on their website under collections. I'd been receiving numerous calls daily from another number claiming to be Citibank, but when I git a call from this 800# I called them. After a minor issue trying to get a live person I gave them my phone number & they responded with someone I don't know. They removed my number in the end. Now to see if I get any more calls.

so annoying every day. they call my cell number and i tal;k to them and tell hem what i can and canno0t afford,. then they will trn around and start sending texts messages tomy phone  WTH  for i ust talked to them all these calls will not make me have money any qquicker  so annoying ai knowe what i qwe and i pay what i owe but  i unfortunately got behind for a month

I got calls on my cell from this number a few times a day.  I blocked the number but it kept calling.  Finally, after reading some of the posts on this site, I called the number back and, after a long wait, the automated system put me through to an agent.  She quickly removed my number from the list and told me they were trying to call Mr. San*** (who is not me.)  Thanks previous posters for the advice!

I keep getting calls from this number. They never leave a message. I just called the number back. They answered as Citibank. I do have an account with Citibank, but it is current and when I asked why they were calling me he put me on hold to tell me they were going to connect me with the proper party.  I hung up because it didn't seem like a legitimate call. The asked on four different occasions what my account number was and then they said that didn't match their records and wanted my social security number. That was when I hung up.

I don't know what is going on with Sears . For that I do not have a sears card. I keep getting calls from sears stating that I have a sears card. I never filled out an application for a sears card. This is fraud.....100%. Sears as well as Citi r desperate. I am now fighting them to cancel a card that I had never applied for in the first place. I feel as though they don't have my SS# and they r trying to get it. I will repeat myself . I DONT HAVE A SEARS CARD NOR A CITI BANK CARD. Don't want one either. Sears is a scam simply because if the only people u can speak with r in India . Then it isn't legitimate. Shut sears down before they can do more damage.

They say its sears. calls me everyday 3 or more times. i do have a sears account but we are all caught up and have to issues. i answered once  and a guy was trying to dept collect and asking me to verify info .

My mother received this call (allegedly) from Citibank.  They were very vague, and my mother has no dealings with Citibank.

Citibank brought all of Sears credit accounts years ago when Sear's closed the dept

If you have a sears account and missed a payment, They call you.  This is their collection agency. Its not a scam or spam number.

Does anyone know who or what this is? I get a call about once a week.

I would never use Citi Bank again. My husband and I had an account with them. Never had a late payment. Saved money paid card down to 200.00
And they raised our interest rate and lowered our amount we could use card for.

We get this calls all the time. It's been like a couple of months that I notice the phone rings three to four times and they hang up. That tells me it's a robo call. I'm seventy years old and as you probably guessed, yes, I still answer the phone on the fifth to sixth ring. Every time I check these impatient phone callers number, it's always some idiots usually claiming they work for some well known company and farming for people that answer the phone quickly. They try to sound legit but they're not. I get one or two calls like these every day. This is more annoying than junk emails and I'm sick of it.. Just wanted to let you know I feel your pain.
