I finally answered it today from 800-733-1116. The phone number was right but there is no such person named that here. She told me that the number will be removed from the auto dialer.

Because Citibank controls sears card, look at you bill and you notice that it is Citibank who is the owner of the card service.

This is a call from CitiCards collection dept. They never leave a message and if you call them back they want your card number.

Since K-Mart bought out Sears, Citi-Bank has been their banker/credit card support
business..  IF you're a SEARS credit card holder?  Citi-Bank is the actual company
behind all the sears cards people have.

So, Citibank is the company that handles the sears credit card accounts. If you have a sears credit card, answer the phone and acknowledge you are who they are asking for. Depending on what state you live in, they might tell you that the call is an attempt to collect a debt. Ignore the statement. They are legally required to say that or they will lose their job. If you AREN'T the person they are asking for, let them know that the number they called isn't connected with the person they are trying to contact. They will save your number as a wrong number and you shouldn't get any more calls. However, sometimes their dialer can take up to a day to update. That means you might get a few more calls that day. Ignore the calls after you told them it was a wrong number. If it doesn't work, speak with an escalations specialist and they will remove your number personally. Hope this helps.

I get calls from this number a lot. Same as a lot of you, four or five times a day. Sometimes it's a nice person that tries to help and I genuinely try to make their day better because I understand their life must suck. Sometimes they're a total doucher which is fun because then I don't feel bad about taking my anger out on them. They always ask for some guy named Lester. I've yet to get the last name of this Lester fellow. Yesterday one of the callers said that this Lester guy probably put down a fake phone number to keep them from contacting him, as they're a dept collector. If have two plans. One, get Lester's full name spelled out for me. (His last name is something crazy.) This will be the first step in my plan to kill Lester*.

After this Lester guy has been "dealt with", I will no longer answer the phone with "This is Noah", I will answer the phone with "This is Papa Johns choochoof#&$you" until one of us gets bored. I can assure you, it will not be me. This is now a game of wits and I will not lose.

*I don't intend to actually kill someone
