- GianlucasPaliucaThis Idiots call my home several times, don't bother too pick up the call.
Do you want to stop this nonsense? Send them a certified return receipt letter asking to stop contacting you this is call "Cease to contact notice"
Then, if they do call again, register time, date, and you can sue them no problems any more - sick of getting calls not 4 meI repeatedly get calls from 1-800-814-6580. This is a collection agency, and the calls I receive are relating to BMG Music/Video. They start out by saying all operators are busy, please hold. Then, after keeping me on hold, (hey, wait a minute. you called me remember) they say may I speak with Dee Copic please. One problem, I am not Dee Copic, nor do I know her. I have told BMG dozens of times to quit calling me, but still they continue to bug me. These telemarketers are very rude and very condescending. They are too stupid to figure out that they are calling the wrong person and they act like I am the one that is the problem because I get irate every single time that they call. As much as I hate deadbeats like Dee, these collection agency parasites are absolutely the worst. This company is by far the rudest that I have ever come into contact with based on about 8,000 of Dee's collection calls that I have gotten over the last five years.

- Not Our FaultThis number is calling REPEATEDLY even though I have already told them the person they are looking for (who they THINK has this number, but NO LONGER DOES) is NOT HERE, nor do we know a "LORRAINE JONES." After PROMISING NOT TO CALL ANY LONGER - it started up again after 3 weeks of 'peace.'
From the number of complaints here, I'd say they are BOGUS.- Caller: Will NOT ID themselves

- Sorry but you are wrong replies to jjhmoneycoachThere ARE statutes of limitations on debts. They vary by state so one must check their state laws to know what the time limit is. There are also laws that permit the statute clock to start all over again, so it is wise to understand how that works in your state. Even court judgments have statutes of limitations but those can be extended but only to a point.
The procedure to stop collection efforts based on statutes of limitations also vary somewhat as well. Educate yourself from a source that is reputable, not from someone posting on a forum who doesn't even know the difference between the words "there" and "their." - Non-Profitcalls and hangs up when we answer

- Sammie Jo replies to WinnThat's good, I don't owe a soul a dime, I asked her who she was and she said, "what do you mean who am I'' lol
Needless to say, I had a few choice words for her, two, to be exact and hung up. - Sammie Jo replies to Happyone| 1 replyNo you're not going to have to give them any info on your neighbor, it is illegal to call a person's neighbors or job and especially illegal to id yourself as a collector to anyone but the debtor.
If you were my neighbor and you revealed personal info on me, you'd find yourself in court being sued.
You should tell your neighbor what is happening so she can take legal action against them. - Sammie Jo replies to NunyaYeah, I call bs on you are trained, if you were, you would know that there are SOL in all states, Texas for instance, it's 4 years, after that, you can't haul anyone into court, you can keep calling, but then, that's when you get sued.
I would be embarrassed to admit that I worked for a bottom feeder co.
I love playing with you morons when you call, try getting the right person instead of someone with the same name. - sammie Jo replies to More informationcollection agencies are exempt from the do not call list.

Is National Credit Recovery Harassing you?
Many consumers complain about National Credit Recovery violating their rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Despite their website promise to work with consumers, there are numerous complaints that they contact third parties and discuss the debt. One consumer said the collector contacted her old employer who discussed her debt with a former co-worker . A third party may only be contacted to obtain the consumer's contact information. The debt collector may only contact the third party once and can't disclose that the consumer owes a debt. - slim staten islandthis [***] keeps calling and asking for my father and will not tell me whats it about well i had it with Todd calling and notified the authorities as I think it some sort of schame

- annoyedI got a phone call lastnite from this number (800-814-6580). Didn't answer it. No voicemail message left. I called it back only to be put on hold. A woman came on and told me that there's a debt in my name that she's trying to settle. I told her that I need this in writing for my records. She hung up.

- SoniaGuys, no one can sue them, because they have an "authority" to do that. Unfortunately, collecting agencies can use those dirty methods. They use dirty people for that. Don't waste your time and beautiful life for that "staff". They read you now and laugh. Just IGNORE them. It's the worst that you can do for them. IGNORE, don't let them be the part of your life. All of you deserve to be HAPPY!
- HatethesepplSame annoying situation as everyone else.... I have taken to telling them that the name is not mine, I am 15 and I just got the phone number on a phone I got for my Birthday. Their tone changes as soon as they hear the 15 year old line. Its worked so far!
