Received call from this number and said, if you are (name), please press 1, of not, press 2 or if you know the person and need to get (name), press 3, press 4 if you know person or not living at this residence.  I just hung up because don'[t know who is calling and not going to give out personal information.  Am on Do Not Call Registry for a few years now and I still get these calls.  Next step, contact authorities and use any legal means to get to this company.

Next time they call, ask them the name of the company you supposedly owe money to, they can't tell you.
I had one guy call me once and tell me I owed $14,000.00 from '96. lol
I asked who the company was, knowing full well I didn't owe anyone that kind of money, he said he said he didn't know, but I should make payment arrangements. lol
I just laughed at him and he got all insulted telling me he was trying to collect a debt. I told him he was chit out of luck and hung up. Never heard from him again, and found nothing on my credit report about any such debt.

Continuously receive several calls each day.  I have not responded to any of them, but the calls continue.

These people call me every day at 11am, I never answer because my soap opera is on at 11, so I don't answer for anyone. They never leave a message, if they're a collection agency, they're wasting their time, I don't have ANY credit, good or bad and I don't owe a soul and never buy on credit.

I keep getting calls from his number stating I owe them for magazines.  I do not purchase magazines by mail, and I informed them of this.  I requested company name and address plus the phone number.  They said they would mail all the information to me,  showing where I had purchased the magazines.   This has been over three weeks ago and I have not received anything in the mail.  They just keep calling.   I have had to block the number.

Just received call from this number and they asked for my stepfather-he died in 1992....
That must be some REALLY old debt!

Get a call from this number constantly asking for my son, Very rude people, won't identify themselves with out my sons permission.this time I asked that they leave a message, woman rudely said I am not leaving a message and hung up on me..Just called them back and ask that they not call my phone again and all contact is to be done via mail, said they will remove my number from the account, not really believing that is going to happen. I asked for a message and contact number for my son, very rude woman says give him the number you just called, still wouldn't identify who they were. Losers!

Please quit calling me. You never leave any messages so just quit, or I'll have some start calling all hours of the day and night.

I have been getting calls from this number 2-3 times a day for weeks now. I wont answer, they never leave a message.

These jerks called 3 times today!
They start off with "this call is being recorded," but they REFUSE to identify themselves!
The last time they called, they hung up when we answered;  I called back and got a computerized answer saying "all operators are busy" and also saying "this call is being recorded."
I think it's time to call them back & use a nice shrill whistle!

Just found out who they are!!!!
They are the "NRA RECOVERY AGENCY."
They keep calling my number, and they have caller ID, so they knew immediately who was calling.
It took 3 times (my demanding) before the "operator" would tell me what the company name was. --- They were asking for another person whom I would not let them speak to.  I have told them this is my number, and to stop calling me.  ----  Wanna' bet they ignore my demand.........................................

The reason why he didn't ask for your phone number is "that we cannot block an 800 number." When you dialed there 800 number your number was automatically posted to them.

Yep, just like so many of your mentioned I got the call on my cell & they left no message. When I tried to call them back I ended up with the endless ringing of their phone? I guess they must be at lunch?
Like so many of you have mentioned I too owe no one any money anywhere!

This number called me today for the first time, when I answered the lady did not state who she was or for what company she was with, she just went straight on to saying that she needed my credit card information for a bill from six (6) years ago. When I asked who the order was from she slurred her words so I was not able to hear correctly what company it was despite asking her many times to repeat the name. She was rude and throughout the entire call l was barely able to understand her.
