I've told them several times they have the wrong number, some say okay your numbers been removed, some just hang up. They are still calling. How do I take care of this.. can we file complaints with the bbb without an address? the number they are calling is a self employed business cell phone and we have a small amnt of incomming calls. They are wasting them. Business is slow and I can't afford to have unnessassary calls?? Any advice?

I went to the better business bureau and filed a complaint HOPEFULLY the calls will soon stop for me! - OhMyGoshI have been getting calls from these people (NRA) for 6 months now. A couple months back I actually answered and talked with someone who said that I owed like $60 to Columbia House from back in 2001. What? Are they serious? The only time I bought from these people was in 1998 and the address they had for me wasnt even in the SAME STATE that I was living in. I told them send me a bill, or some sort of proof, big surprise they never did. But don't worry, they are still calling.

- helloi received a call from this phone number on my cell phone. i let it go to my voicemail thinking they would leave a message, no message left. so, i called back on another phone, not my cell phone. the person that answered did not state a business name, which i thought was strange. when i asked what the business was, he hung up on me. so i googled the phone number and to my surprise, i'm not the only one!
- BrittanyI recieved a call from them yesterday, and I called back today. The guy who answered the phone was absolutley rude. He went on to say something about me owing money, and I didn't catch the details of what he said. So when I asked "What?" He said, "I'm not going to repeat everything I just said." So, I was just like, "Well, I have no idea what you are talking about" In which he responded, "Okay, bye." His tone was very rude, and I was tempted to call back, but from reading this, I presume I will get another call soon?
- TimThe address they give is PO Box 67015 Harrisburg, PA 17106.

- rHave had several calls rom this number. Today, I just clicked on cordless phone and let the parrot talk to the other end. Not the first call, about the 15th one. You know it's not a good number, when they don't want you to know from where they work. Even with multpile lines, they can still be buisness ID numbers on caller ID. Very Annoying.
- Nunya| 3 repliesI work for this company and i have to tell all of you that Jennifer is the name of our dialer computer. We are all trained on fdcpa laws. And for the people that say we call after 9...BULL no one is in the office after 830pm and the dialers are turned off.try to find another excuse because we hear them all.
- The TruthNunya...you are full of it.
I have rcvd calls from this company after 9PM in NY. You are trained on fdcpa laws...I'm sure...the little booklet of Do's and Don't they gave you at orientation doesn't count you scum bad peice of crap. - Jenifer from NYCThey keep calling and asking for so and so and when I tell them that the person they are asking for is not available, they tell me in a very authoritative and rude way to "write down this number I'm gonna give you" to which I responded, "Excuse me, it is necessary to use this tone of voice with me?" All I got from that woman, supposedly named Erica McDonald with an African American accent, was: "Are you writing the number down?" in a shouting tone, I asked that our home number be deleted from their calling list and hung up. I have to add though that that call came early in the morning when my husband and I had just gotten up and it was annoying to say the least. Please continue reporting them to put an end to these newsense calls in the privacy of our home. How would they like it if we did just that to them and at any hour of the day or night? I forgot to mention and for what it's worth that when I called the number right back, it sounded like I reached someone's home and both the man and the woman sounded half asleep; and in general, when one calls an 800, one expects someone to answer with a company name.
- frank from BaltimoreHave gotten the call repeatedly for about a month. I never pick up. After reading other peoples experiences, decided to just call them and see what happens. Nice lady picks up, says they are looking for someone named Ashley or Robert something... said I don't know either name and I have had my number for about 3 years. She said, "no problem, just give me a minute and I will remover your number from our system". She repeated my number to verify she had the right number to remove, but didn't ask for any other information. Once she removed the number, she said that should take care of the calls. Not rude at all. We'll see if it works.

- minethis number calls but leaves no message. I guess whatever they want isn't that important. I'd like to have them try to get my money--I filed bankruptcy and anything that is associated with those credit card numbers is cancelled out so Jennifer or whoever is trying to call...........sorry about your luck...you just got screwed!
- CharliesMomSeriously?? PEOPLE!!! The DNC registry is for solicitation calls, NOT for collection. If you have a collection agency calling you, you have NO CHOICE but to deal with it (however you choose). Calling or reporting to the FTC or attorney general's office will result in nothing more than making yourself look like an ass.
- Joni| 1 replyThese people were calling me so I finally called them back, They tried telling me that I ordered a Bun and Thigh Rocker from Home Shopping Network back in 2001 and never paid a penny for it. Funny I never ordered anything from HSN before EVER! Funny thing is they told me that all the info that was given at the time the order was placed was my name and address. No Social Security Number no form of payment , nothing.... Yet they want me to believe that for the last 8 years I have heard nothing about this so called debt and now they want me to pay for it?!?!?! I think NOT !!!!
- JMWI initially missed the call and then returned it three times.
First call... Answered by a women who would not give her name and only said the call was being recorded and she represented the NRA Group and hung up upon more questioning.
Second Call... Answered by "Chris" who said essentially the same thing as first respondent only was much more rude and he too hung up.
Third Call...Answered by a guy who said my number was taken off the list, but he too said he was from the NRA Group and that he was recording the call and then hung up.- Caller: NRA Group
- LAWKeeps calling no one says anything. Will not answer it again. I have been receiving 5 to 6 different 800 calls almost everyday. Feed up with this harrassment. Think I should call attorney General and Trade Commission. Somebody should be able to stop these people.
- SabrinaCall came in at 10:49 am. Asked to speak to Sabrina. (First name only.) I said this is she... The lady said this is to collect an outstanding debt for a book I never heard of, and this call is being RECORDED. Balance due of $98, from 2008. I told her I was not sure what she was talking about. She described the book by the cover and title only. She asked my PO Box number was XXX. I said no, it is different. She did not ask what my correct address was, and quickly wanted to end conversation. "We have the wrong person" she said, and thanked me for my time. CLICK....

- RodJennifer the computer left a voice message at 7pm on a Tuesday with a reference code that was unintelligible. I think I'll wait for a 2nd call before trying to make them stop. I've had my phone number for about 1 1/2 years and it's probably for someone else. Too bad there isn't a way for the call to be prevented based on the disconnect date. Even better, how about NOT recycling phone numbers.
- anonymousI keep getting a call from the 800-814-6580 number every couple of days. I do not answer 800 calls and they never leave a message.
