I got a call saying my account has been breached, and asked for my social security, I hung up, then looked online to see if anyone else has gotten the same call. Thank God I did! Please check where the call is coming from so no one falls into their trap! Good luck out there!

Got similar call statng from ADT.  I hung up, googled the number, and confirmed scam

I got a call also say there was a security breech on my cell phone and to enter the last 4 of my SS# I hung up called my carrier and was told there was nothing wrong with my account that they had been getting several reports of this type.

I just got the same call, wanted the last four digits of SS number and they claimed they were AT &T.  I called the number back and they had a message about all the services available, but if you wanted to speak to a person...well GUESS WHAT, no one answered!!!  I did not give them my SS number.

Did not answer, I do have ATT account.  I looked up number and saw all these comments....I will never answer an 800 number on this phone!  Thanks for this phone look up feature.  Will block this 800-888-8804

I just got the same call with the same message.  It's amazing how people will try to scam you.

I got the same call and called AT & T.  Nothing wrong with my account....When I called this number back from a different phone the recorder said that I was called LED Technologies or something like that...

Received call from this number... Recording said security breach, bla, bla, AT&Tbla, bla.  I hung up.

Same, said account breach, but did not know what company, asked for last 4 of social, I just hung up. Not even with ATT!

I got the call after ordering something from Target. Anyone place an online order right before this happened?

Received a call at 2:38PM 8/22/2014.  Automated voice saying they were AT&T and there has been a security breach and to provide the last 4 digits of my SSN and then a "beep" was heard to record it.  I hung and called AT&T and gave them the phone number and information.  They indicated they have had many reports of this all day long as well.  If you get a call, let them know...the more reports, the more likely they will take action.

got a call from this number at just after 6pm... didn't answer/ they didn't leave a message.

This was an AT&T scam.  A recorded call about my AT&T account.  Interesting since I don't have an AT&T account.

Same as other post. Computer sais to enter my four last SS numbers because there has been a breach of my security. I don't have an ATT account, and never enter my personal info to a machine.
