I have been getting these calls for quite a while. I read one of the posts below that gave Cap Ones phone number. I called and after repeatedly hitting the O key I spoke with a women,who said my number would be removed. The only info I had to give was Phone number and name.If it doesn't work I will post results.

I don't currently do business with Capital One, but I received a call from it on my cell phone. I called back and the automated system picked up. I found that, to speak to a human, I had to say that I was interested in opening a credit card account. A human then picked up very quickly. I asked him to take my number off the Capital One list--he asked for my name and phone number and said it would take six to eight weeks. (I reminded him that calling my cell phone with a telemarketing call is illegal, but he seemed to think that it was OK because it was an automated system that called me. I guess he thinks that you can't put a computer in jail.)

You have to use the words CEASE AND DESIST!  Otherwise, they will continue to call and call and call, now, once you use the words Cease and Desist, it may take 24 hours for them to stop calling, but if they call after 24 hours, you have a lawsuit!

Calls 10 times a day, give or take, and never leaves a message. Calls as early as 7:30am (which I beleive is illegal) and as late as the 8-9pm hour.

I have ZERO business with capital one; never have and never will. They continue to call me from multiple numbers even though I've called them back twice and was told my number would be removed from their calling lists. My number has been registered with donotcall.gov since 2009. I see multiple posts of people complaining of the same problem. I think its time for a class action lawsuit. How do we get the ball rolling here?

I get this call 7-8 time a day I want to know why they keep calling no one answers when I pick it up

I dont have a Captial One credit card. But they call me 8 times a day and they do not leave message.

This stupid company or whatever keeps calling me. I picked up once and a female voice said, "Is this Kristen?" I hung up. Ugh. I HATE getting calls from people like this.

This person called looking for people who weren't in our household.

I keep getting calls from this number -- no one on the line when I answer.

They call from (866)381-0453 or (800)955-6600 at all hours of the day.  I've never had a Capitol One credit card.

I called Capitol One main Customer Service at (800) 955-7070.  She wanted my SSN, but I said no, I'm *positive* I've never had a Capitol One card.  She then said my phone number will be removed from their calling list within 3 days.

I was assigned a phone number by Comcast and started getting these calls from various numbers, including this one. I have run out of numbers I can block (12 on Comcast). I don't have any debt nor do I have a credit card.

recieved this call from this number today....not sure who they are i never answer...they never leave a message either. I put my number on national do not call registry...not sure why telemarketers are still able to call me....annoyed
