They have been calling me on my cellphone.  These are a nuisance and I want my number erased

To the person claiming to be employed by the collections department at Capitol One.  YOU ARE A BOLD FACED LIAR!  You are not employed by Capitol One, but rather by a scam company pretending to be Capitol One.  I have gotten 3 calls from the FAKE company.  I not only don't have a Capitol One card, I am sure as HELL not in default with any cards I do have.  How the hell do you explain that away with all the mumbo-jumbo BS you wrote above?  And BTW...checking your credit report is ALWAYS good advise and any honest creditor will tell you that!

Your phone if so has a blocked number app updated put the number in and it does work

These people call me 3 to 4 times a day 7 days a week dont leave me a message. When I call the number back I get no answer. I wish that someone would make them stop

Thank you I agree I live on 950 a month lost my job and in the same year got divorced and these people asked me to send the money for the child support to pay my debt. What is up with this company, they say they will help you and NO way do they care or help anyone

THIS IS A SCAM! They leave a message to call back. When you do, they ask for the last 4 digits of your credit card number. When you enter it, the machine says that it's not on file and to re-enter it.  Once you re-enter the number, it says it's still not on file and ask for you to enter the COMPLETE credit card number. DO NOT DO IT!!   IT'S A SCAM TO GET YOUR INFO!!!

If you guys are going to call me several times a day at least update your phone recording that says 3-0976 . What's the point of leaving a message if it's only part of a number

Here's my questions.. when they leave a message it doesn't say who they are just a number to call back. Identify who you are calling for.  It sounds like a partial cut off message

They do not leave a message as to the reason another calling other than they need to have me call back to resolve. They don’t leave their name and the company they are calling from.

That number just called me, they asked for me by name and I only would say "who's calling" they asked 3 times I answered that way each time and then hung up. Caller id showed Capitol One. So I called capitol One's customer service number and talked to them. According to them that number is not in there directory of in house numbers and that no one should give and card or personal info to the caller.

You need to shut up. These people calling for someone not here, i dont have capitol one. You are ignorant.
