Just got off the phone with those guys.

Wow, he was persistent when I said no thanks.
No way does a company send out a rep to watch someone scratch a card. With NO ulterior motives.

Don't let these guys in people.

It would be most cost efficient to mail the card certified, if anything.
This is BS, beware. Stay away.

I've gotten a few calls from them in the past, but it's always just rang and rang, I've never heard someone on the other end. I'm on a 'Do not Call' list. Glad I found this forum.

The guy called from the Federal Finance Group. Insisted on speaking to my husband, which I refused. I asked him several times who he was calling "for" (what company) and he wouldn't tell me. Just pretended to know my husband. I got ready to hang up ... and he then had my name also (how did they get both of our names?!). We are on the Do Not Call Registry. He did finally tell me that he was from the Federal Finance Group and we had won a prize. Maybe cash, maybe a tv, maybe a trip, maybe a car. I told him that there was no way they were giving away free money from a scratch ticket, but if so, they must have the address and just drop off the money. He said I must not understand and that he would call back and speak to my husband. I told him that he absolutely must not call back, and he hung up. Slick, fast talking weasel with an accent.

I thought it was something having to do with those grifting Mormons, didn't answer the call, screened it to voicemail but.. They didn't leave a message either. Thanks to whocallsme.com, I'm prepared if they call back again and if I do get a callback from 801-432-2126 I'll know this is just a telemarketer.

Received a call to my business from 801-432-2126 today and one from 435-565-4754 yesterday (both are Utah numbers). I actually spoke to a young lady today and was told the same BS story as listed below (I was to be sent a scratch card to win a TV, $2500, a Ford Explorer or Bahamas cruise). If you want to have some fun with these ppl, try what I did.

When asked my age group--so they could verify that I was not a minor, so I was told--I answered "Yes, I am over 18" or "Yes, I belong to one of the age groups you've listed." over and over again. She was very persistent in asking me the question about 15 times, insisting I choose one. I kept answering one of the two statements above.

When I asked about Federal Financial Group, I was told they provide "powerful tools to increase cash flow and reduce taxes." I kept asking seemingly stupid questions such as, "what is cash flow?" and "what kind of powerful tools--like drills or saws?" I was told she didn't know but all her job was to ensure I qualified for the scratch card--first, by being over 18. We never got past the first of three "simple qualification questions."

Then I said, "If your company is running a legal drawing, you need to disclose the odds of winning each of the prizes that I am certain to win." (I was told I definitely won one of the four prizes.). She said she didn't understand my question--evidently they've never heard of odds in India, and you would think that after Slumdog Millionaire, they would know all about odds of winning. When she said she wanted me to hold while she asked her supervisor, she hung up on me.

I googled Federal Financial Group and see that it's located in Draper, UT and their number is 801-495-2009. I called it and no one answered in the middle of normal work day.

Needless to say, this company is as sketchy as all get out. But, I encourage you, if you have the time, to make their call so miserable for them by asking idiotic questions and having them repeat things over and over again--acting as if you have short term memory loss.

IMS Financial.  They called and asked 3 questions to see if I qualify.  Since I qualify, I can get a scratch card to will contain one of the following prizes:  $2500, 27" Panasonic TV, Ford Explorer, or a 7 day vacation.  The scratch card will be delivered by someone who will come to my house to talk about insurance and minimizing tax burden.

I'm sure the card will have the vacation on it that will consist of some crappy timeshare vacation rental and more pressured sales marketing.  lol  The trip will meet the minimum.  A bad hotel/resort and that's about it.  Everything else will be from your wallet.

I did one of these in college.  Never again.

When they called and asked for our director by his full name (he goes by a nick name, so it's easy to spot these guys) I acted like I was putting him on hold, but I actually put him on mute. Pretty funny and illuminating...English is clearly their second language.

Woman with broken English asked for an unintelligible name. She kept repeating the unintelligible name and then finally hung up.

I got the same call from some funny accent lady who spoke really fast, it sounded very nice and stuff, saying i was in a random drawing and my number got selected to win. she made it sound official by saying my work adderess and number and everything. then she ask qualifying question such as do i work, am i married, what is my yearly income range before or after tax- things along that line. she identified herself as federal financial group and that her "company" is trying to raise awareness of themselves because they are new to the area. She also let her supervisor talk to me who was fluent in english so that made it seem more legit, but Stupid me for not realizing when these people were so persistent in obtaining info that i won some sracth off card for  a ford, tv, and money

This is the second time this place has called and the first time was some weird out of area number but the second time was a local number so that fooled me

    be AWARE

"Federal Financial Group" just called today, 3:15 pm, I Googled them while I gave a phony name &  info.  They are going to bring me a no-obligation scratch ticket for either a gas-guzzling Ford Explorer SUV, a _________ (unintelligible) TV, $2500 cash, or something _________ (unintelligible).  But, you see, I am "GUARANTEED" to have already won one of those prizes!  AND there was no 'catch.'   They asked for my age range, my annual income (which I'd already falsely doubled and he STILL tried to get me to say I made more money - I refused!), and a convenient time to bring my scratch ticket to the office next week.  Then his fast-talking heavily accented female "manager" got on the phone and prattled off a whole series of intelligible mess and asked if I agreed.  I said "Oh."  Flights from India must be getting cheaper and cheaper all the time!  Now I'm just going to sit here and see if they bring my new truck next Thursday!  Excuse me while I hold my breath...

    Same here.

Got a woman with a thick, Indian accent who said the same thing you all said today on Monday. It was very difficult to make out what she said (kind of spoke in staccato bursts).

Supposedly someone is coming to my store to give me the scratch off card this Friday.

    We'll see what happens.

I met a representative from this company yesterday. They basically give you a 30 minute spill on how to invest for your future, and how to manage your money wisely. The guy was super nice, his name was Jim Stanley. The representative that you meet makes a finders fee for getting you to join one of the investment groups he represents. As for the scratch off I won the Bahamas vacation, which includes several stipulations. First you have to get to Florida where the cruise ship is located. Then you have to pay a port fee for of $179 per person . I told the guy thanks for the information he shared and that I didn't need the cruise offer as I could get one cheaper through a travel agent. If I was guessing I would say that every scratch off is a vacation winner.
